I have a Motorguide SW82 24V #98 188953 it runs up until full power, then chatters very slowly. Can you help??

sounds like a battery that is dead. when did you charge it last?

most likely overloaded and burned out part of the motor control circuit. so yes you are right

t 47 power plus motorguide prop wont turn but you can feel the power going to motor to try to turn it

sound like either voltage drop or hi resistance from cables... if you test 24v at the plug then resistance is the problem and may have to rewire to a 6ga wire to carry the load, pretty simple just hook the new cable to the old one and SLOWLY pull it thru, help may be required because you dont want to loose it half way.....hope this helps...GL

Sounds like it's heating up. Check your wire size. For 24 volt: 6 guage wire is reccommended - that's pretty heavy. Also check the wiring of your batteries. It's easy to get mixed up if you have 24 or 36 volt system. One more thing...check the fuse size to make sure that is correct. Hope this helps. Brian

Trolling motor runs on it's own when plugged in,speed adjuster won't control speed and 3 position switch doesn't perform either..please help. motorguide 74lb thrust.

adjust your valves your oil pickup tube needs to be adjusted you need feeler guages to adjust the valves down properly
make sure lifters and oil pick up tubes are not clogged

feeler guage is---> thin pieces of metal cut to different sizes to hold under valve adjusters till the play and chatter gone
check by book what the feeler size needed for adjustment
