Question about Video Game Consoles

Same old after the eraser fix it worked a couple days then same thing again. So i tried to do it again thinking maybe the erasers were not thick enough. This time when I turned it on it looked like it was going to work.then the fan started to spin super fast, i thought it was going to move across the floor.I couldnt believe it actually went that fast without busting or frying, i cant even begin to explain how fast it was going. Then it just shut off,no noise,no fan,no nothing, just 2 blinking red lights in left quadrant. So I wrote back for more advice explaing what happened and was told it is too hot.But even when i leave it for days and try it it starts to load and bam ,same thing, just shuts down. How can it be reading too hot when it hasnt been on or plugged in for days.Is this error there from a time when it did over heat and needs to be reset, if you can do that at all.I dont know anymore....Ready to give up.Also has microsoft fixed this issue and others on their new 360's or should I go sony3...Never heard anything like this about them.

Re: same old

First off, I think trying to repair a 360 with erasers is just insane! Why didn't you try the X-Clamp replacement? Your system is definitely overheating, all you can do is try the X-Clamp fix or read here of what I did to mine... My 'pressure' fix worked for my 360 and has now been running fine for over 6 days, in my opinion you should not try to fix a 360 with erasers!

Error 51030 shows. has worked fine until today

Unable to connect to your wireless network

Likely cause: Your wireless router may need to be power cycled, or the connection settings have changed.

How to fix: Power cycle your router; redo the connection settings on the Wii and try again.
  • Did this connection used to work but has suddenly stopped? "Power cycle" your router and modem. To do this, unplug both the modem and the router from the power outlet. Wait a few minutes, and plug the modem back in. Wait a couple of minutes for the modem to initialize, then plug in the router. Try to connect the Wii, Nintendo DS, or Nintendo 3DS online and test for proper response.
  • Erase your old connection settings on the Wii and set up a new one, as your router's settings may have changed since you last connected. We suggest following our guide to create a new connection file and start over.

My nintedo game cube card keeps needing reformatting?

I also had this problem about 1 or 2 months ago. If it says that your memory card needs roformatting, that means, for some reason it can't read your memory card anymore and you need to erase all your memory, and kind of like make your memory card's system new again. I tried reformatting it over and over again, but it didn't work no matter how many times I tried. You could try blowing into your memory card to see if you can get anything like dust out of it. But if not, Im afraid you'll have to do the same thing I did, I had to buy a new one. That's all I can help you with.

Hope I helped and good luck. Plzz rate.

360 not starting....

ok you could try this

what you need is two towels just normal bathroom towels take everything out of your xbox e.g harddrive, controlers etc only things to leave in is the av cable and power supply as you wanna turn on the xbox lie a towel flat on the ground and lie the xbox on its side ontop of the towel turn the xbox on, you will see the error message and the red lights flash. wrap the towel around your xbox covering the air vents and then the 2nd towel put over the top. leave it on in the towels for about 20 mins then after that take all the towels off turn off the console and leave to cool down for 15 mins. turn the xbox on and it should restart again fine but only lasts for a couple of days then you have to do it again. wont fix it but will let u play while microsoft gets it.

its only a temperory fix you may need to contact microsoft

hope this help please rate me

360 issues

Two Red Lights

The two left quadrants of the Ring of Light flash red on the front of the Xbox 360 console
This behavior occurs when the internal temperature of the console exceeds the acceptable limits. You may think of this as too hot, overheating, and so on. Make sure the fans are operating and the system has adequate ventilation.

Since you've been inside it's possible that a heatsink or some other part of the cooling system is not working properly or is loose. Check all these!

Good Luck!
