I can't connect my wii to my wifi

Using your computers wireless manager, or an ethernet cable if applicable, connect to the Cradlepoint router.

Open your browser and enter 192.168.0.1 in the address bar of your browser.

Entering the last 6 characters of the MAC address will get you into the Admin level of the router.

Go to the Tools tab and select 'User Login' from the menu on the left of the screen.

Find 'Require User Login' and uncheck the box. (Earlier Firmware versions will find this box under the Basic tab, click 'wireless'.

Click 'Save Settings' at the top of the page, leave this page open as we will return to it later.

Turn on the power to your Wii

Now search for an access point on the Wii consoles main menu, just click on the Wii button in the lower left hand corner.

Now click on Wii Settings

Clicking on the blue arrow on the right side will take you to a second settings screen.

Select Internet, select Connection Settings, select None, select Wireless Connection, then 'Search for an Access Point'.

The Wii should search for wireless routers within range and display a list, choose your router from the list and click OK.

If you previously selected a security level for the router there will be a padlock icon next to the name and you must enter the same settings in the Wii that you entered into the Cradlepoint.

Click 'Save' and then click 'OK' but DO NOT choose OK to start a connection test!

Back on your computer, click on the Advanced tab on top and select Gaming from the menu on the left of the screen.

Under 'ADD GAME RULE' be certain that the 'Enable:' box is checked, and in the box next to 'Name:' type in "Nintendo Wii",

Next to 'TCP Ports to open:' type 80, 443, 28910, 29900, 29901, 29920 (exactly with commas)

Next to 'UDP ports to open:' type 1-65535 (exactly again). Click 'Save'

Return to your Wii and click on 'Choose OK to start a connection test'.

If you are still having difficulties (Wifi only), Nintendo tech support has recommended changing the channel of the router to either 1 or 11

Can you continue a game with a different disc

Hi Jason,

The answer is yes! Whether it be purchasing a copy, renting it from Redbox again, or borrowing it from a friend, any disc you use to play that specific game will be able to access your save data.

This goes for downloaded content as well. Everything is saved to your hard drive.

Happy gaming and thanks for using FixYa!

1ST LEVEL,WHERE DO i FIND KEYS TO THE GARDEN

COURTYARD WITH PALM TREES AND TIGHTROPE: Enter cautiously, Larson waits in the next room, up on a balcony to the left. Let him have it with your pistols and he'll run off shortly. Pick up a small medipak in the alcove on the right. Then go through the doorway below where Larson was standing. First go left down the ramp to a room with boxes. Here you'll find a GARDEN KEY (shaped like a star) on one crate.
Return to the hallway and continue left to the top. Larson will shoot at Lara again from the other side of the gap. Again, plug him a few times to scare him off. Then tightrope walk across to the opposite balcony. Drop down and, if you like, use the switch to open a gate leading back to the FOUNTAIN COURTYARD. (NOTE: As before, you don't have to do this, but it could save you some backtracking.)
Head away from the gate toward a WIDER STREET WITH A GATED GARDEN off to the right. This is where you'll use the GARDEN KEY, but you need another one first. Go to the left end of the street and through the small, square doorway. Follow the hallway, picking up some revolver bullets in a small room on the left. Make a mental note of the LOCKED WOODEN GATE with the small room behind it. This is the location of the second secret. You'll come back for it later.
Continue upstairs. Be sure to pick up the REVOLVER on the landing. (You probably won't miss it because the camera focuses on it so you're unable to look at anything else.) At the top of the ramp, push open the blue double doors. Inside this SMALL ROOM WITH WINE BARRELS you'll find the LASER SIGHT on the floor to the left and a padlocked gate on the right. Shoot the padlock: either use the revolver equipped with the laser sight to target it (check your instruction booklet or see the section on 'using the laser sight' on the TR5 controls page), or face the lock squarely and shoot continuously with pistols while crouching. Lara should hit the lock on the way down. Behind the gate is the second GARDEN KEY. A colony of rats swarms out. Some of these will try to bite Lara, so if you've gotten everything, run away downstairs. Or, run out, jump the railing and wait for the bats to disperse before returning to collect the key.

I have just bought a new photoconducter unit and put it in the printer. Instructions talk about select, return buttons, menu buttons and exit buttons. My printer does not seem to have this. It only has the...

  1. Enter the printer's Configuration Menu. To do this:
  2. Turn off the printer.
  3. Open the front cover, as shown below.

    pattlnk_1122005_2111-enus20330_openfrontcover_e230_en_us.gif

  4. Press and hold the Continue (pattlnk_1122005_1857-enus20682_continuebuttonicon_e230_en_us.gif) button.
  5. With the front cover open and the Continue button pressed down, power on the printer.
  6. Hold the Continue button until all the lights cycle.
  7. When just the Error light (!) is displayed, close the front cover. The top four lights of the operator panel should come on, indicating that the printer is in configuration mode.
  8. Print the Configuration Settings page. To do this:
    • Press and hold the Continue (pattlnk_1122005_1857-enus20682_continuebuttonicon_e230_en_us.gif) button until all of the lights flash. This page lists the functions within the Configuration Menu. The functions are the non·indented items listed along the left edge of the page (along the bottom as printed from printer). They are also unshaded.

Save this page for possible later use.
  9. Reset the photoconductor page count as follows:
  10. Press and release the Cancel button (pattlnk_1122005_1917-enus20682_cancelbuttonicon_e230_en_us.gif) to move sequentially from one menu item to another. NOTE: If you get lost, you can press and hold the Cancel button to jump to home state (top four lights on).
  11. Press and release the Cancel button until the Toner Low (pattlnk_1122005_215-enus20682_tonerlowbuttonicon_e230_en_us.gif) light is the only light left on.
  12. Press and hold the Continue button until all of the lights flash.
  13. Then release the button. When the Toner Low light is once again the only light left on, the photoconductor page count should be reset to zero.
  14. Return the printer to normal mode. To do this:
    • Power it off for five seconds and then turn it back on.
  15. Print a menu settings page. To do this:
    • When the Ready (pattlnk_1122005_218-enus20682_readylighticon_e230_en_us.gif) light is on, press the Continue button once. The Ready light will begin flashing and one or two pages will print out.
  16. Check the photoconductor reading on the menu settings page. To do this:
  17. Look for a section labeled Cartridge Information and locate the word Photoconductor under that heading.
  18. Confirm that the photoconductor level reading is OK or close to 100%.
  19. If the photoconductor reading is low, try printing 10 - 20 pages.
  20. Print the menu settings page(s) again. Confirm that the photoconductor level reading is OK or close to 100%.
  21. If the photoconductor reading is still low, refer to the Configuration Settings page you printed in Step 2.
  22. Confirm that Reset Photoconductor Counter is listed on the page.
Also confirm that the light sequence for the photoconductor counter is the Toner Low light.
    • If the light sequence is correct, try repeating this entire procedure again from the beginning to reset the counter once more.
    • If a different light sequence is listed for the photoconductor counter, repeat the procedure but this time, instead of stopping at the Toner Low light (Step 3.2), press the Cancel button until the operator panel shows the light sequence that corresponds to the one listed on the Configuration Settings page. Continue with the remainder of the procedure as before to reset the counter again.
  23. If the photoconductor reading is still low after the page reset procedure has been performed twice, the printer may require service.
