Follow the top radiator hose to the engine. Where it connects to the engine is a cover. Under that cover is the thermostat. If this helps you please rate by checking the 4 thumbs up! Thanks for using Fixya.com
I had the same problem a couple of years ago. It is actually located on the bottom of the engine. I have no clue why. They are usually located on the top for easy access.
Follow the hose coming from the bottom of the radiator to the engine block.
The thermostat is located on the engine block, where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine. You'll see a large elbow-like component that is attached to the engine with 2 bolts.
Just follow that upper radiator hose and you got the location. When you remove that housing (elbow-like component), you'll see the thermostat. Make sure you note which end of the thermostat is up and which end is down. Don't reverse the install.
