Here is a link for your enjoyment!

Unfortunately, some links do not work as links on this website, so you might have to copy the text of what should have been a hyperlink, and paste it into a new tab or new window in your internet browser, then hit the enter key.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

I have a cell phone that I got from the Government and by accident I took out the SIM card. When I put the SIM card back in it says 'no service'. How can i fix it please?

I fixed the atrocious spelling, capitalisation and grammar :>)

Remove the battery and the SIM card overnight. Put the SIM card in and then the battery, switch on.

If it still has problems, contact the cellphone provider, as you need a new SIM card. I assume you are not out of state or something, in which case you need to enable Data Roaming. Beware of the costs associated with Data Roaming!

Blackberry curve 8310 stopped working when sim card's inserted.

This is an unusual problem. I would take it to an experienced cell phone technician like Inovagent in your area and see what the expert says. Often places like this will offer a free evaluation and/or estimate.

Resetting the phone will erase everything on your phone, if you agree to reset it please follow the steps below:
  1. Please remove the sim card on the phone.
  2. Place the battery back in without the sim card.
  3. Enter *2627*3855#, wait until you see “Insert Sim” message, then place the sim card back in. Hope this will work, but if not the phone needs reflash.

I changed sim card, now they both display ''Insert SIM''

try taking out both cards and popping the battery on the phone.

Wait a few minutes and then turn the phone on with no card in it.

Turn it back off when it says no card found and insert the newer card and power it back up.

It seemed to keep a memory of the blank card.

Cant open battery cover

Hello!

Very simple solution. All you have to do it flip it over to the back cover is facing you, there is either a tiny button to push and then you can release the cover. Or you need to press firmly against the back and front and push up/pull down until the cover slips off!
