Go to JD web page, click support, dial in your numbers and read the manual ( you can not download it but can print it out in sections ) find your wiring diagram and check.
JD use either a fuse or a fuseable link.

Call john deere customer support they will supply it to you

I had an older JD with same problem, it was the ground wire underneath, tho yours may be different. Or when turning key on don't turn it all the way
