Did you actually install QuickTime after you downloaded it.
Also check what type of video file you are trying to upload.

My smilebox slide show won't record. It use to and then just stopped. Everything else works fine.

Assuming nothing else has changed in your computer (no other programs/add-ons installed that would cause this), I'd download the free Revo Uninstaller & Auslogics Disk Defrag from Use Revo to fully uninstall the software-- it clears all bits from the registry as well (only tick the boxes in bold type & delete). Then, restart your PC & download a new instance of Smilebox. Get rid of any old SB installers if they remain in your downloads folder.

Now, before reinstalling Smilebox, please do a system clean- open computer, right-click C:, properties, disk cleanup. Delete all it finds & then run the Auslogic Defrag program. After that, run chkdsk (Computer>right-click the C: drive>properties>tools>error checking>tick fix files only).

When it's done, try reinstalling Smilebox.

Error 7759

If this is from installing SmileBox from, here's how I fixed my error 7759...

  1. Uninstall SmileBox and Restart Windows [I have Win7 64-bit Home Premium].
  2. Clean the Windows Registry [I used Norton Security Suite 4.4] and Restart Windows.
  3. Go to to directly download and install THEIR version, then Restart Windows.
My SmileBox started working without errors after the above fix, but I wasn't able to use's "Personalize in Smilebox" link. This was more of an inconvenience than a real problem for me, because I was able to launch my SmileBox app and personalize the same ecard -- which now got pulled directly from

Hope this helps!

The songs won't download.

You need to first update your firmware with a windows based computer (one update at a time in order). This will solve a ton of issues. Finally change the "USB Mode" to "MSC" with in the settings menu and you can enjoy your player
