SOURCE: whirlpool cooker shows error code

The F3 E2 error code indicates that the electronic oven control board in the range senses an over-temperature condition in the oven.

This can be caused by a failed temperature sensor probe, a wiring problem between the sensor and the control board, or a failed electronic oven control board.
If the oven is apparently not overheating when this error code appears, then your likely failure is the temperature sensor probe.
If the oven is overheating, then you likely have a failed electronic oven control board due to a stuck relay not cycling the oven heating element off properly.

For replacement parts - head on over to or and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

SOURCE: Bravetti Slow Cooker won"t heat

Well if your o.k with soldering...or know a more than likely IS repairable. The manufacture puts in a thermal fuse that blows when the temparature gets to high. Radi0 shack stocks them...and might know of a local person to test / fix it.,HPIB:2010-05,HPIB:en&q=thermal+fuse&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wf Here is what it looks like. AND you need to get the RIGHT tempature rated replacement. Hopefully a 10-20 dollar fix will save you 50-120 for a new one. Maybe you will get lucky and the fuse clips in like a vehicle fuse. Good luck Richard

Hi s112ronnie,

If your Coby tablet suddenly has no response or powers off, an elec-trostatic discharge may be the cause. In this circumstance, please follow these procedures for recovery:

1.Reset the player (use a paper clip to gently press the Reset button (on the bottom of the player).

2.Turn on the unit again

NOTE: Back up your data to an external source prior to performing reset.

I have acquired a rival rice cooker 4310 and it won't heat up. It appears to be the power cord as it doesn't show any power flow with the multimeter on the heating element or the resistor. no...

There is a heat sensitive switch attached to the inner pot. It is very small, it turns the heat off when the pot reaches boiling temp. If it is open, replace it. They come in different temps, so get the right one. This one is supposed to open at 212 degrees, f. You will find a similar one in a Mr. Coffee, it switches the pot from boil to keep.

There is a brown film on the bottom of rice after cooking. Only the rice on the surface can be eaten. Why?

Either not enough water in the pot or heat is too high. Try lower heat setting first... if that does not do it, try adding a bit more water.
