Have a 1982 wood mobile home and part of the electical outlets have quit working and I can not find a diagram for the electrical wiring to see where all the wires are run.

Chances are that these receptacles were back wired.
The kitchen should be on a separate 20 A circuit.
See if there are any GFCI receptacles that need to be
Mark down all the receptacles that are out. Shut off the
power to the house, open the receptacle that is closest
to the panel, If it is back wired, remove those wires and
used the screws on the sides. (replace receptacles if they
look worn out.) After you complete that one, turn on the
power to see if it works. If not, repeat the same procedure
with the next receptacle.

Burners Work, but Oven Won't - Display Dead

The oven elements may be burned out or the switch. Usually if you have an electrical outlet, it gets power from the oven circuit. See if the outlets are working, replace the fuse (sometimes you can't tell it is burned out. Depending on age, you may have to replace elements. Not likely both are gone. does it work on Broil or Bake? You could also, unplug the stove and carefully remove the back cover and look for wires that are dicoloured...or burned.

New GE electric kettle causes wall outlet to stop working.

Your electric kettle in drawing more current than your wall outlet's are made for. Not being able to read your current draw on your GE kettle I would guess you have a bad GE kettle and it needs to be returned to where you bought it.

Exposed wires

If the critter chewed through the range cord insulation (from the outlet in the kitchen to the stove) you can get a replacement at most home centers or a well-stocked hardware store. The connections are made to screw terminals under a cover behind the stove. Take the old one along and match it to the new one. Be sure to tighten the screw terminals very securely when you put on the new one. (Obviously, you unplug the stove before doing any work.)

If the critter has chewed through the electric supply line to the stove outlet, call a licensed electrician to replace the damaged portion. You need to have the work done by properly licensed people to keep your insurance company happy, and often to stay legal with local codes as well.
