The red light is on and the sound it doesn't come out >>]

means there an internal problem with the audio side of the amp and that the power side is working fine. normaly it is a blown transistor on the audio side. take the cover off and see if you can smell anything burnt and take the heatsinks off the transistors and inspect them.

pls check burnt resistors, if ceramic it's value is .25 0hms 5 watts, if big carbon film resistor it's value is 10 ohms 3 watts. check also power transistors A1941 & C5198. also check driver transistor A940 & C2073

Carlsbro Bass Reactor 400 bass amp - power section dead

• Could be drive transistor , output transistor or both on the main amp.

But check for power supply and in the preamps also.

• A signal tracer will come in handy when troubleshooting these kind

of symptoms.

• Measure supply voltages,

• Check offset voltage

• Check idling current

Isolate , and trace afterwards.

• Schematic is really needed when there are burnt and unrecognizable

component. But one can use similar schematics to analyze circuit

My problem i lost transistors for power for car amplifier audio apache i need numbers for transistors

There might be still other power transistors left, same part number

for the power inverter ( IRLZ43N on some ).

Except for the Main Amp that have Complimentary Pair

check for possible burnt or open resistors , too

There are some burnt carbon resistors beyond recognition on a peavey tnt bass I need the schematic diagram

Try these schematics:

Scroll down to "Get Manual" at the web page and click on it to download.

Please note that on the first schematic above, the power amp schematic is way down beyond the parts list and layout of the preamp section... keep scrolling. ALSO the powoer amp shows a real WIERD connection where the output transistors drive against ground and the center tap of the power supply transformer for the power amp portion then bounces around with the audio output... that is a wierd connection but it is possible.

Need a schematic to follow circuits on kx800.2 amp. A 10 ohm resister 1/4W was smoked and need to trace the problem. This circuit area is just after the pre-amp board socket.

Hi! ok R64 is a 220 ω resistor & Q22 is a BD140 transistor, these 2 components are the final outputs for the -15V rail which feeds the pre-amp board. There are two scenarios here, firstly Q22 may have died of natural causes which has killed R64 or something has gone short on the pre-amp board which has taken both components out as a result. i would suggest replacing the two cooked components & if the amp then works ok it will be an easy repair, however if they go again then an investigation using an ohm meter will be needed on the pre-amp board to check for shorts on all any of the i.c's. let me know how you get on, if I can be of further assistance just ask!. Regards, acbva.
