time to rebuild motor or replace it. The smoke your seeing is pressure from the cylinder escaping around the piston rings into the crankcase and venting out the covers

Ride on mower can ride around but whe engage fanbelt for cutter motor stall no power but very thing does turn easy with hand

Sounds like your mower deck safety switch is bad..it is located near the end of the handle that engages the mower deck..try unhooking it and bypassing it with a wire or heavy paper clip...then try mowing if it mows that is your problem..the mower deck will, operate that way but is a safety switch..you need to get it replace,,easy to do yourself..good luck.

My Cub Cadet 1200 lawn tractor has repeated coil failures, I change the coil, it starts and mows for a while then stops.

Hi, the problem you have is unusual. First check the plug gap as being to wide will over load the coil, also make sure your air gap on the coil legs is 8 thou. Finally remove all of the air shrouds and make sure all of the cooling fins are clean as the coils may be over heating. Regards Phil

#3 and #7 misfire codes

Swapping coils between cylinders is a better solution than replacing them. This way if the misfire follows the coil you know the coil is bad. Lack of power under load usually suggest fuel starvation to me. I would change the fuel filter and then road test the car. Also if you had just filled up the tank when the misfires started, maybe you got a bad tank of gas. Sometimes right after a rain water gets churned up and gets into the pump, and consequently your fuel tank.

The blades stop turning under a heavy load on my Craftsman 42" mower deck. Is there an adjustment that can be made?

"the adjustment" is to slow down in high grass areas. alternatively mow more often so the grass does not get so high between mowings

K2500 chevy 3/4 ton pick up. no power under load

IN your distributer under the rotor is a magnet and a pickup coil (the magnet is known as a pole piece) check your pickup coil for corrsion (green in color) and the module and also check pole piece for cracks in the magnet where the rivets hold it together. sometimes oil wicks up around the distributer shaft because of housing wear or the pieces just wear out over time.

I have a Woods Zero Turn Mow n Machine powered

Try taking the cover off to get to the fly wheel and use some fine sandpaper or emery cloth to clean off the magnets on the fly wheel and the two little prongs that set really close to the fly wheel.
My white wouldn't start right away and I did the above and now it starts great.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks
