It sounds like the pass transistor may be bad. That control's the current to the motor. I feel strongly from a distance it could be shorted. Seek help from someone who deals with audio power amps. They'll have the skill to diagnose the problem and make the needed repair.

Thanks for your help greatly appreciated

Actually it wasn't that. The problem is that the switch has three different celenoids I will call or switches that are hold by screws that are screwed on a plastic holder the holder is broken so celenoids are hanging freely, when turning the main switch to turn it on there is no contact. Damn Chinese builders I hate this way of building to replace technology if you dig what I mean!!!

Thread is braek in between bobbien for cloths

Clean the bobbin and chase. Look for any bits of stuck thread. If that doesn't work, re-thread the top and bobbin. If that doesn't work, take the needle out and re-insert making sure it is the correct way.

Janome Memory Craft 7000 Sewing Machine- When I turn the machine on it moves the needle position slightly and message comes up Err 4, then it freezes. Any clues ????

My Memory Craft 7000 sometimes does the same thing, if it's very cold. Try warming it up by placing it near a heat source, a vent or a floor heater, for a few minutes. Then it works perfectly.
I've used these machines for over 20 years now, and they're my favorite!

If this doesn't solve your problem, you need to take it in for servicing.

They are work horses, but they do need their maintenance from time to time.

I hope this helps you.
