What kind of record player is it? Make, model, year of manufacture, etc.? There should be a sticker or plate somewhere that tells all that info.

How do you replace or change a stylus

to change the stylus you pull end of the cartridge towards you, they are push in, and slide out very easily. Not all stylus are removable but the good makes always are. To change the cartridge, there are two screws and four pull off gold plated connectors.

Playing records too slowly

It's likely that the belt has moved off where it should be. If the stylus was damage it would slide across the record or cause poor sound. It would not affect the speed unless there was too much pressure on the stylus, but you would feel that as the head of the arm would feel heavy.

FIRST RIGHT LEAD REQUIRED YOU NEED STEREO 3.5mm stero jack plug to lef right phono male leads... prepare for manual record place jack in computer headphone socket. check correct socket play track on computer their should be no sound. if sound present in wrong socket... if ok place phono left right into analogue aux inputs on cdr recorder.next make shure you have blank scratch free cd .next press ext(ernal) source repeatedly until the required input is selected i.e digital analogue optical etc..when auto track is on the disk will number automatically.with auto track on it their needs to be 2.7 second gap to rec number change. with the recorder stopped press rec type five times to enter in the manual record standby mode. manual start s to flash and the display shows REC EXT MAN followed by WAIT.after a few seconds press record . play the source track ie on your computer to set record level on cd recorder.. adjust audio card settings or volume control on pc etc .rotate easy jog/enter key until on the record /play level bar all the blue led are alight but not the red( clipping) display shows xx decibel eg 3bd. stop the source material (track on computer get ready to record ii.e to start track again..to start recording set you track going wilst pressing RECORD on the cd recorder, and immediatley the source material playing. the track number and recording time left appear in display . if check input message is displayed check the connections are correct etc .to stop recording press stop on cd recorder . update lights up and arrow goes out. after recording display will show UPDATE FOR SEVERAL SECONDS WRITTING TOC.. IF YOU WANT TO PLAY THIS DISC ON NORMAL CD PLAYERS YOU NEED TO FINALIZE THE TRACK . HOPE THIS HELPS..yammandan.

Trouble viewing recorded time-lapse recorder tape.

Sounds like the heads on your TLC 2100 Time-lapse recorder are in their last legs. This is normal for those units. The reason you are having those scramble lines towards the top of the screen is because you are not playing at normal play speed.
The problem with the switching between cameras is that the "dwell time" settings is set to high. Most dvr's you can just disable that.
If you are looking to upgrade look here.

Changing from sp to ep

it will automatically play at the speed the tape was recorded at. but if you want to change record speeds here's how: you should be able to access menu functions from the front of the vcr, if so, put a tape to be recorded into the unit and then set the timer for a couple of minutes.while you are on the timer menu it will ask you for recording speed. set the timer record speed to ep and let it record for two minutes and let it record for the full time untill it stops recording. the record speed will automatically change settings to whatever you used last on timer record.

Playback speed problems...

The Play button controls speed of play back. If you hold the button two long it changes the speed. Press Play and then release and press again until the speed you are looking for is obtained. Be careful not to push the play button mulitple times once it is correct.

Olympus DS30 voice recorder play speed issue

Hi, the solution to the problem seems to be the following. When u press play, once, you get 1x play. If whilst playing you press play a second time the DS-30 goes into slow play mode, and if you press a second time it goes into fast mode. For those of us who accidentally went into either fast or slow mode, just press the play button again, during playback, until "play" appears on the LCD screen. Apparently it is as simple as that.

Axim Record Button Does Not Work

Try taking off the left black rubber stripping and see if the button underneath is lined up correctly. Perhaps take a look inside to see that all the contacts are good.

This site will help with how to take off rubber part and open the Axim: http://www.gethightech.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=GHT&Category_Code=_axim_takeapart
