Question about Elna Sewing Machines
If the manual does not mention oiling, I would be hesitant to do any without guidance, although most machines do require some oiling. You machine most like has some computerized components that could be damaged. If you haven't had it serviced in the 15 years you've had it, then it would be a good idea to have that done. Perhaps you can ask the tech if you should do any oiling along with the regular cleaning you perform at home.
