Clutch motor is the motor that starts working when you put your foot on the peddle

Does anyone know what kind of motor, Servo or clutch, is in a HUSQVARNA huskylock 1002LCD? Also does it zig zag?

The information I found about your machine indicates it is a serger, not a sewing machine. A serger does not zig-zag.

My serger won't start. Motor is running but won't turn. Also wheel wont turn

Hi, On most of these newer machines they have a clutch that you engage to fill the bobins.
Please make sure that the clutch is disengaged for normal use. If this is all OK see that belt
is attached on motor.

I have a huskylock 1002lcd serger. The cutting

See an authorized husqvarna viking dealer for parts (and service). It's possible you might find the part at third party vendors on line but your best bet is with an authorized HV dealer. You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com

Good luck.

Won't form a chain stitch

You 910 serger doesn't have the option for a Chain Stitch. It is a 2, 3, or 4 thread serger. You can do a good number of different stitches but a chain stich is not one of them.

If what you mean it that it won't "chain off", meaning sew with no fabric beneath the foot as you gently pull the thread towards the rear of the machine, that could be for a number of different reasons. First, change the needles and unthread the machine and start over. If the threads are not exactly where they should be, your serger won't sew correctly. A great video on threading your machine can be seen at:http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/mediafiles/huskylock/index_en.html

Parts for serger machine.

Hello, you need to find your nearest Husqvarna Viking dealer for that part. It's call the motor pulley. The reference number on the machine parts break down is #215008-844 you should also change the little washer at the end of the pulley, #215008-845. Inspect the belt, if the teeth are "rough" in any way, you may want to pick up a belt too.#215008-843
