Question about Hitachi Computers & Internet
Each plug is suppose to run three strips of leds from what I read.I do have a led tester and got the top three to light with 89 volts one plug. I get nothing with the other plug and this is the one with no power also.So I don't no if I need a jumper between the two plugs to test all leds or if they just don't work. The wire color to the first plug is red and white and the other plug red and black and that is the one that don't work not sure what to test next?
This television is designed to operate on 120 volts 60 Hz, AC current. Your 278 volt reading must be incorrect.
The LED strip you have no power on... may be controlled thorough a back lighting brightness feature, which would be activated via the televisions setting menu.
Never connect the television to 50 Hz, direct current, or anything other than the specified voltage. Testing components by applying power through the circuit card will most likely cause problems for you.
I have included a link for the basic owners manual but what you really need is the service manual which contains diagnostic features access and repair. I suspect these sets provide diagnostic access to display fault codes and aid in locating component failure.
