If your remote control have display but cannot transmit signal to the unit. Confirm first if the remote is really the problem, using your camera or cellphone camera as your eyes point the remote transmitter to your camera and "on" the remote. You should see light emits in your remote control, if no emitted light then the remote control is defective. But if there is a light the defect is in the unit receiver.
Check also if there is a reset or rst button in your remote control and reset it and try.
Check also if there are error codes in the unit, reset the unit by disconnecting the power supply in the unit for 10 sec. and "on" again and try.
The unit can be operate without remote control, use the manual button located in the unit.
If the remote control have no display replacement of remote is recommended.

Right click on your desktop, go to properties, and navigate to the settings tab. There, try to set the monitors resolution to the largest available. That should fix your problem. If it doesn't just try some other resolutions until ou find one that works. I hope this helps, Yannick.

This unit comes with a remote control (optional wall mounted wired thermostat available) as a standard feature. This unit is precharged with the environment friendly R-410a refrigerant. No additional refrigerant is needed if the line set is 49 feet in lenght or shorter. In addition to its very high 20 SEER efficiency rating, the 15RLQ is only 31 in. long which makes it the smallest Mini-Split System in its category through out the industry.
This category of equipment is ideal for smaller spaces where spot cooling is required. Several models in this category are ENERGY STAR Certified, meaning they save you money on your utility bill. Residential applications including sunrooms and additions are made easier with these air conditioners and heat pumps. Do you have a warm spot in your home? Fujitsu mini-splits can provide extra cooling capacity for those hard to cool areas. Commercially, their small size makes them ideal for small offices, providing individual temperature control.
Fujitsu's I.A.Q. Systems provide residential and commercial property owners an innovative solution for clean, temperature-controlled indoor air. The Halcyon IAQ systems deliver powerful heating and cooling, are designed for ease of use and maintenance, and feature an unobtrusive design which can be integrated easily into any decor. The Halcyon IAQ systems filter dust, pollen and odor making them the perfect addition to any home!
Important: All installations must be performed or supervised by a certified HVAC technician in order for the warranty to be valid.

I had exactly the same problem with a Fujitsu General PDS4208E. After looking at the forums etc bit the bullet and tracked down an ORIGINAL remote. Paid yesterday, arrived today - batteries in...screen back on!! One proviso here: Before you pay big money for an original remote (and ONLY they will work with these 2nd generation plasma screens not universal remotes) make sure that your screen WAS working before it was in the standby mode. try http://www.portables.co.uk/ on +44 208 968 1444. Ask for Andy. He seemed to know what he was talking about. About £50 +VAT plus next day delivery charge. Alternatively borrow mine at £5 a button press!! ;-))
