How to use power and percent in el-531x scientific calculator.

To use the power, you use the y to the x key, above the EXP key. To enter 2 to the power of 4, you enter 2 hit the y to the x key and enter 4 and hit enter.

To use percent function, you enter the percent key after the number. To calculate Interest, where Interest = Principal x Interest x Time. For example, if the principal is $1,000, the interest rate is 8%, and time/term is 4 years, we would enter 1000 x 8 Percent x 4. When the8 is entered followed by the percent key, it should turn into 0.08.

Good luck,

What is formula to find percentage of females in my workplace?

To get around this, you can calculate your numbers as percentages first. For example, if you type the formula =10/100 in cell A2, Excel will display the result as 0.1. If you then format that decimal as a percentage, the number will be displayed as 10%, as you 'd expect.Aug 2, 2011

HOW CAN I INSERT THE EQUASIONS IN TO CASIO FX-85GT PLUS, SO IN THE EXAM I WILL EDIT THE NUMBERS ONLY?

Same question, same answer.
Sorry, but you cannot.
You can type in a formula that involves the memory variables X,Y, A, B,C,D, E, =, . Such a formula is meant to be evaluated to get a solution (X by default). Once you type the formula you press the Shifted function SOLVE and you will be prompted for the constants, for Y etc. when you press the EXE/= key you get the value of X.
If you turn off the calculator or change the calculation MODE, it is wiped out of memory.

To make a long story short, you cannot STORE formulas in the calculator. Better try to memorize them (commit then to YOUR OWN memory).

How to calculate interest rate based on original balance and payment amount using BA II Plus

Work with the simple formula: Interest = Initial * rate * time
To find the total amount, add the Initial plus the Interest, then subtract what has been paid. This will change the amount of money that will be accruing interest, though, so if there is a payment schedule you will need to repeat this calculation to get an exact number.

Can't reopen circular reference file in excel

  1. Click the Microsoft Office Button , click Excel Options, and then click the Formulas category.
  2. In the Calculation options section, select the Enable iterative calculation check box.
  3. To set the maximum number of times that Excel will recalculate, type the number of iterations in the Maximum Iterations box. The higher the number of iterations, the more time that Excel needs to calculate a worksheet.
  4. To set the maximum amount of change you will accept between calculation results, type the amount in the Maximum Change box. The smaller the number, the more accurate the result and the more time that Excel needs to calculate a worksheet.

Calculated field in Excel pivot

Count will only work with numbers. So select another box where you want your number and use this formula: =count(x:x) This should give the count number then you will need to find the difference. In another box, use =sum(x-x). This should give you your difference.
