Question about The Computers & Internet

# Value of 2 McCoy Crocks. One has a 12 on the front the other, 22. Can you help?

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
Good luck!

I'm not aware of any on-line replacement parts for Hamilton Beach slow cookers, but you can contact the company at
http://www.hamiltonbeach.com/contact-us/contact-us.php

Note that there are three models of slow cooker for that number:
33162
33162-C
33162-R

Check the label on yours to make sure you've got the right one before placing your order.

### 11001100

You can convert this in a number different of ways, all giving the same result if applied properly. However people from the olden days that still used 8-bit computers often used following:

1.Split the binary number in groups of four digits, adding leading zeros if necessary. 11001100 => (1100) (1100).
2. Given the individual bits have values 8, 4, 2, 1 when set, convert the groups individually 1100 = 8+4 = 12. In your case, both groups have the same value,
3. Multiply the value for the left group by 16 and add the right group's value:12 * 16 + 12 = 192 + 12 = 204.
It helps if you know the multiples 1*16, 2*16, ...., 15*16 by heart.

Substitute 2 for x, 3 for f(2). This gives you an equation with a as an unknown
3=a*(2^2)-6(2)-7
3=4a-12-7
4a=3+12+7=22 or a=22/4=11/2
Check
11/2*4-12-7=3 Checks OK

### 6+22)/ 2-12 x 3

Just follow the order of operations. 1. Parenthesis 2. Exponents 3. Multiply and Divide in order from left to right, and 4. Add and subtract in order from left to right. I'm assuming you are missing the left parenthesis before the 6 (.

(6 + 22) / 2 -12 x 3 =
28 / 2 - 12 x 3 =
14 - 36 =
-22

### Tv says airflow restriction tv will turn off. there is no airlfow restriction

I did not find a reference to airflow restriction in the service manual.
I don't know if this will help, but here are the error codes:

The TV must be in “Shut Down” and not manually switched Off, to perform the Error Code Operational
Check. When the TV is switched Off, the code automatically resets to “12” No Error.
Press the front panel “DEVICE” and “MENU” buttons at the same time, and hold for 5 seconds to
activate the Error Code Operational Check. The LED will then flash denoting a two digit Code.
Note: The front panel buttons must be used, NOT those on the Remote Control.
• The number of flashes indicates the value of the MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code.
• The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2 second.
• The LED then flashes indicating the value of the LSD (ones digit) of the Error Code.
Example: If the Error Code is “32”, the LED will flash three times, pause, and then flash two times.
• The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times.
4. Error Codes
The Error Code designations are listed below:
Error Code Probable Cause
12 No error detected
22 Recovery from momentary Reset
32 Lamp Cover open
33 Air Filter Cover open
34 Lamp abnormality
35 Chassis Fan failure
36 Exhaust (Back Cover) or Lamp Ballast Fan failure
37 Engine (DMD or Lamp) Fan failure
38 Excess Lamp Temperature
39 Excess DMD Temperature
41 Short Detected
44 DVI Cable (between Chassis and Engine) disconnected

According to the log file, there was a spindle servo failure. The spindle servo is responsible for maintaining rotational speed accuracy. I'd say your drive is pretty much dead. See if you can read a disk in the drive. I wouldn't be surprised if it had a tough time just reading files.
