Our Bissel quickstreamer power brush will not dispense liquid when cleaning.

There is a knob on the base that says floor and tools. Make sure that it is closing when you switch it to floor, Make sure that the hose works when you use it too. That will tell us what the problem is.

The brushes come off, they are clipped on as an assembly if you look at the bottom of the machine you can see where the cover for the vacuum slot that brings up the water clips on too. If you remove that you can see the clips that hold the brush unit better

The difference in um-150 is to insert the brush inside the hole to dispense the toothpaste out. um-550 is to use one finger to push the button while another handed brush is positioned at the spot located bottm. try putting the fluid hoses in first then the brush

You did not give model number, are you sure there is no belt? If no suction, check filters make sure they are clean. Check the hose and dirt inlet by the brush roll to see if you have a clog.

The brushes will only work if the handle is released and the ProHeat vacuum is running . There is a micro switch inside the lower handle that switches on the DC carpet brush motor. The DC power for the motor comes from a Bridge Rectifier on the PC Board. petedcurtis@gmail.com

you may need new brushes and check sqweege in front.Also clean injecters for cleaner at bottom of unit.
