SOURCE: My Tiger Woods 10 Wii

First ..try to see if thi sis a problem with just this game ...or it is a internet connection issue as I suspect ..If it is just this game ..and the rest are connecting well and all it is fine ..including other internet features..than the trouble is one with the server and the access to the server..
or it is just a a firewall-ed connection ..
please refer to this
http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/onlineHelpGame.jsp
also make sure the server's address is on and te correct one ..
In case the internet connection do not work at all..you should check the lan card ..and the way it connects to the internet..(the tcp/ip protocol ..or whatever it uses for to connect ..The firewall of the router..and it's connectivity ..)
here are more troubleshooting related with the internet connection ..
http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/online.jsp
If the internet connection no longer works for the system ...I suggest to restore it to the factory settings ..and reload the game without the updates that caused the issues..in the first place ..
I'm referring to the updates of the system and not of the game itself ..Regarding the game's updates ..the only issue may be the servers not being the ones needed ..or during the updating the servers being missing ..

How online poker rooms profit?

There are three ways onlinepoker rooms profit. First, there is the rake. Rake is collected from most realmoney pots (not included tournaments). The rake is normally calculated as apercentage of the pot based on a sliding scale and capped at some maximum fee. Each online poker room determines its own rake structure. Second, the handsplayed in tournaments and sit-and-goes are not raked as mentioned, but ratheran entry fee around five to ten percent of the tournament buy-in is added tothe entry cost of the tournament. Third, like almost all institutions that holdmoney, online poker sites invest the money that players deposit. Regulations inmost jurisdictions exist in an effort to limit the sort of risks sites can takewith their clients' money.

What's a freeroll satellite?

Playing a satellite is a great way to geta chance to play in a big event. Some of the most exciting satellites are theones that sites offer in exchange for regular players, who don't even have tobuy in with cash. In a satellite tournament you might get a chance to play in abig game with tough competition, in cases the direct buy in to the tournamentis too pricy for you, you can try out your skills and spend less money byentering a satellite to this tournament and hoping you'll succeed moving on tothe real deal.

What's the difference between a cash game and a tournament?

In a cash game a player may freely buy inor cash out between hands however it is normally prohibited for a player toremove of his chips from the table. For example if a player buys in for $100,then wins $100 the player may not remove the original $100 buy-in whileremaining seated. He would have to forfeit his seat, possibly wait to rejointhe game, and buy in again for $100.In tournament however the method is alittle different. One difference between tournaments and cash games is that theblind/ante structure of tournaments increases periodically over the course ofthe tournament, whereas the blind/ante structure of cash games remainsconstant. Another difference between the tournaments and cash games is that atournament sticks with a predetermined style of poker, and cash game players, depending on the house rules may have the option of playing other types of cardgames. I find the cash games much more suitablefor me to take advantage of my skills as a poker player while on tournamentthere are more strict rules and restrains that can interfere with your game.

How much money do I need behind to play at my best?

Even an excellent player can go broke ifshe doesn't have good bankroll management. For example, if you've decidedyou're going to play a lot of one-table tournaments and you have $250, it willbe a bad call to play tournaments with $55 entrance fee.
I personally suggest you to have at least 50 buy-ins behind you before youenter a tournament or a cash game, because in poker card can cause you a badrun even if you're a great player.
