Question about Televison & Video

Open Question

On the touch panel for my Model WC220, the green light when on the "On" mode is not light up; therefore, neither the fan or light on the fan will turn on. Can you help me with that?

SOURCE: GE model JVM5503 (1980): light and exhaust fan

That would be a problem with your "touch control" but it is no longer available.

The oven will have to be replaced.

Sounds like it had a good run.

Why does my sanyo model KHS2472 has a red light blinking in heat mode and a green in cooling mode, does not work in either mode makes a gurgling sound when it tries to run?

Hi,
The red light indicates it's either heating or in defrost mode
Check the outdoor unit if the compressor is running - the large pipe on the outdoor unit should be hot on heating or cool to touch on cooling
When in heating mode - the indoor fan will not start until the indoor coil is warm enough
If the reversing valve that changes from heating to cooling is faulty then you may encounter the same symptoms too
Probably need a Refrig Tech to have a look at it?
Good luck

What is the red light on my wd-60737 mean?

You can Google the brand and model number for a free owner manual but on the set indicated it means usually the lamp is the issue.

Ge Artica Refrigerator PSC23PSTA ss not cooling or freezing. Refrigerator reading 45 and freezer reading 6.

Typical problems that can cause this:

- iced up evaporator due to defrost problem
- failed thermistor (temperature sensor)
- compressor not running

all of the above could be due to a failure in the main control board

there is a diagnostic mode that can help you diagnose cause

GE model JVM5503 (1980): light and exhaust fan work, but touch pad does not respond to pressing buttons and therefore no functions can be initiated.

When we turn on our split AC, outside unit is not turning ON

The blinking light is because the unit is waiting for the outdoor unit to come on. If in heating mode, the indoor fan will not run before enough pressure and therefore heat has built up. You should check that the indoor air return sensor is not faulty and therefore preventing the outdoor unit from coming on.

Monitor problems

It seems that you are trying to use a graphic mode that your monitor doesn't support.

Restart windows in safe mode, go to Control Panel. Click on Display. Select settings and change to a resolution that is supported by your monitor (I don't know your model, but 1024x768 is a safe bet).

Restart the computer.

It should be working by now.

Good luck!

It does not turn on, remains in stand by mode.

I cannot be COMPLETELY sure of this so be careful, but doesn't the PS3's board cater for both types of power supply and therefore a step down transformer is not needed? Check the labels on it just in case, but be wary I CANNOT be certain of this...
