There are quite a variety of white connectors out there! Do you have any pictures? What kind of equipment is it in?

Samsung y board I'm replacing the main Y board on a Samsung plasma. I cannot get the connectors to come apart from the buffer board. These are the white connectors. How do these come apart?

Some have 2 tabs on the short sides. Some have 1 tab on the long side. Some just need to be lifted evenly. Some need a pin to push in the tabs before lifting. Get yourself a magnifying glass and look very carefully before removing, you don't want to break these connectors. Some are NOT removable, be carful!

My 52 has a distorted picture that seems to be concave and is out of focus. Any Help?

id suspect a convergence circuit failure a model number is always important just like going to get a part for your car you need information so you can be assisted with correct information and parts .but il take a guess its a HD52W ?? ON THE DEFLECTION BOARD that's the board on the left side when the back of the set is off . id check connections on the fly back transformer and see if there are a couple cracked they need to be re-soldered . and its possible that a pico fuse is open there on the source . that will need to be replaced . also at the right side of that board are two chemical ribbons that come over from the main signal board there are connectors there if there white they need to be changed to a new part that is black that was a problem that often went unnoticed . the pico fuse sits to the right side of the fly back transformer there three little red squares its the middle on you will need to check with a meter on OHMS scale to determine if its open .

How to connecting magnavox recorder to tv

Pretty simple. You should have a cord with RCA connectors. They are colored Red, White and Yellow. The Red is audio right, the White is audio left and the yellow is video. On the recorder side connect those three to the OUT connectors that will be color coded as well. On the TV side plug them into the IN connectors also color coded. Make a sure to change the TV source to whatever you plug into (ex. Input 1)

Where is the backlight inverter located in vizio sv471xvt?

Larger sets such as the one you have, will have two inverters. They usually are attached to the backside of the LCD panel on the left and right sides. If you don't see them there, then your inverters are built into your power board. If your power boards are either one of these below, then that is the case. If your inverter circuit is at fault, you will have to replace the entire power board.

MY finepix s5000 fujifilm camera has a white screen displaying when i turn it on, is there anyways i can fix that problem with out haveing to take it in.

Had the same problem with my s5700, white screen, took it apart. two screws on the left (facing the screen) under the strap, two in the usb compartment, two (screen side) screws on the bottom, three screw in the battery compartment, and the final just below the right side strap. Carefully pull the back off and check the ribbon connection from the lcd to the board. push it in made sure its seated. Reasemble being careful not to bend the ribbon connectors. Worked for me.

I have a Panasonic PT-AE500U projector i am on my 4th bulb now and i have a blue hue on the left side. It was on both sides, i had it sent in and cleaned and now theres only a hue on the left side. I have...

Optical block is the culprit! replacement is not too difficult. About the only special tool required is a long phillips screwdriver to reach the screws securing the block to the front panel of the set. Then, there are three connectors on the C board which is part of the block, one connector on the left side of the C board, one fan connector on the left side and then two connectors on the lamp driver board which is on the back of the optical block. Two recessed screws hold the block to the front panel and sometimes there is a third recessed screw to the left of where the lamp is located. Then the block slides out. Reverse the procedure to install the block.
Thanks for using FIXYA

Toshiba 50hp95 will not respond and has flashing red power light. It seems many people have this problem, what's the solution? We have tried all the Toshiba suggestions.

My 50hp95 had the same problem; the red power light is flashing and the tv will not turn on. I unplug the power and plug it back in and the TV clicks, but the power light continues to flash red. My problem was a bad Seine module which you can bypass if you do not need to watch HD off air programming. Since I get my HD from the cable, I can bypass it. All you need to do is remove the back panel from the TV (unplug the TV first) and on the main circuit board unplug the white connector labeled PJ63A. The main circuit board is the one in the center of the TV and the PJ63A connector is the bottom white connector on the left side of the main circuit board (the label is printed in white on the circuit board under the connector). Once I plugged the TV back in it worked immediately.

Where is the defrost timer located on GE model# GSS20IEMDWW side by side refrigerator? My freezer works but the other side is warm. I took the freezer panel off and it had a thick layer of frost...

This model does not have a defrost timer. It has a motherboard. You must jump out the plug to the main board to test the defrost circuit. In order to do this take the cover off of the main board, find the three wire connector on the base of the main board, connecter is normally blue in color. On the board itself it will identify termials as line, defrost, and compressor. To test you must create a jumper wire.Install the jumper in the plug terminals identified as line and defrost. This will turn the defrost heater on. If the heater does not come on, look for a defective heater or a defrost thermostat(mounted on the top of the evaporator). If the heater does come on replace the thermister(located on top of evap, white in color and has two white wires part#WR55x10025)

Power led blinks but no picture or sound

Had the same problem myself. Took some doing but I managed to find a service bulletin that I downloaded. The problem is with the siene module and all you need to do is unplug connector JP63A from the main board and your TV will work again.
Take the back off the TV (there are a lot of screws) and look on the left hand side of the main circuit board that is mounted in the center of the TV. You will see a small white connector that is labelled JP63A, simply unplug it. Plug the TV back in and let it reboot. That's it, should be able to watch immediately.
