Frigidaire washes, but does not rinse or drain but it will spin

I understand that your Frigidaire washer will not wash or spin. Typically if your washer is not spinning it could be a potential issue with your drain hose. I would check to assure that there are no kinks in your drain line or that the drain hose is not too long. Those could be some possibilities.

Based off the information you have provided if your Frigidaire washer is draining and rinsing but not spinning it could be an issue with your timer or motor. I would reset your appliance by disconnecting power to it by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker for ten minutes. If that does not work I would recommend having a technician out to the home to properly diagnose and repair the appliance, since it could be any one of these underlying issues. If the unit does not spin correctly, this is usually an indication that the unit can also not drain. The unit will not spin if it senses a blockage or issue with the drain lines and/or pump. Try to check the drain lines in the back of the unit for any issue, and then see if you have an access panel to get to the coin trap or drain pump itself. Often socks and debris will clog up in this area and cause your problems.

Hello Dorothy - Does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, there may be a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Otherwise since it is such a complex unit I would recommend contacting a professional to have either the pump or timer diagnose.

the drain pump is not working,after wash cycle the washer should drain the used water,if it does not function-all the next cycle will not commence.

Your drain hose must be 36 inches from the ground. Any lower and the water siphons out.

Clean out coin collector thoroughly. Replace drain pump if necessary. Water will drain if you can place drain hose on floor and let water siphon out.

My Frigidaire front loader washer model LTF2140E doesnt want to drain the water when set to wash (heavy-normal-quick selectors). It washes put thats it. I have to switch the selector to drain/spin then rinse/spin cycle to finish the load. I checked the drain hose for any clogs....everything is clear. Any suggestions? Also,iIs their any reset buttons for this type of washer?

Check out your outlet filter, probable it is clogged. Clean this out and refit. Most cases when the drain or spin does not work, it is the filter. This is a suggestion.
