SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Constant static on my walkie talkie

Check the squelch level, either the knob or on the menu. When the squelch is 'open', there will be constant noise. If someone is transmitting nearby, do you hear them clearly? If not there may be a problem with the receiver in the radio.

I have a set of Oregon Scientific TP380 walkie talkies & they are wonderful. I find them very useful but have a slight problem. I would like to remove or switch off the Call Tone. Its very annoying...

You can't... I've even opened them up to find highly integrated circuits...Without a multimeter and a chip programmer I can't see anyway of fixing that...
I've bought a different set of PMR's.
