SOURCE: Why does my washing machine (located in the laundry room) back up into my kitchen sink

I it hard to believe that a sink full of water will drain "freely" if the washing machine machine water will not. My suspect is that a minor blockage exists in the main sewer drain line-AFTER the point of connection of the washer. A cleanout point probably exists near that point of connection. Please use it to clear the line.

Ground fault from box

In California It is code to have a ground fault receptacle where ever water is, Bathrooms, kitchen, laundry ect.
I have a older home that has 1ground fault for all receptacles located in the garage, so to update I have installed ground fault receptacles in all locations where water or dampness is present, even under the kitchen sink cabinets.

I have an LG energy star auto start dehumidifier (about 3 years old). It works fine. How can I hook it up to drain into my laundry sink automatically? It would save me the effort of emptying the bucket...

Unfortunately, draining into a laundry sink is not an option. As your model does not have a pump, it relies entirely on gravity to drain with a 48" length of garden hose. A floor drain is the perfect way to go, if you have one.

To further assist you, I have included a llnk to your model, which has been discontinued. You can download and print the manual for future reference if you like.

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

How to get rid of water hammer in an ejection line

You put in an expansion chamber. Typically a 3/4 inch pipe installed with the connection at the very bottom of it. the air cushions the water during shut off. DO NOT IGNORE the issue, as it WILL BURST pipes, eventually. There are also screw on expansion devices, intended for laundry, that may be able to be installed. they screw in like a hose faucet, so you would have to install something to accept it in the kitchen.
Do not let it continue.

The twin tub connected to the washing machine doesn't drain.

The laundry tub does not have adequate drain size to handle discharge from the washing machine. In addition, the kitchen and laundry area piping may not be correctly vented.

My LSR7233EZO was draining on the floor, flooding my laundry room and kitchen, during the rinse cycle. What would cause this situation?

check the outlet tube for cracks or a loose clamp, also make sure the tube is draining in the sink or drain tube and has not slipped out.

There is a laundry washer on the floor above me and I am connected to the same drain in my kitchen sink. I am getting backflow in my sink when the machine is used.I get water and soap suds. How can I deal...

You need to get a one way valve fitted in the pipe just before it hits the main waste pipe. This will ensure that as soon as any backpressure is exerted that the valve closes and your sink etc will not fill with waste. This is a potential health hazard to you so I would suggest it is fitted ASAP.
