Check for a tripped circuit breaker in your power panel. When a 220 breaker partially trips internally , one side of the 220 line is lost leaving 120 left. That's why the laser light still works. Replace the breaker.

SOURCE: I have recently purchased a used DW125 radial arm

Hello. Since the saw doesn't sound like it had a ground attached, I would begin by checking the motor to be sure that it is ok. here is an excellent link that explains exactly how to do just that:

Yes you need a new laser. The red beam should come on and go off only if its a blu ray disc or ps3 game then the laser will go to a blue beam and from there it should read the ps3 game or blu ray. If a dvd movie is in it the laser should light up red beam and read the dvd.

SOURCE: I plugged my Toahiba LCD TV into a 220volt electric outlet. I replaced the blown fuse but I still don't get a picture. What's next step? New power supply? Buy a new TV?

unless you can check all the circuit boards /cards then i would say its more than likely fried and would cost more to fix than replace

I don't have a harness how do i power to it just to see if it comes on. just take a ground wire and a positive wire and put it to whatever prongs it would be on the back that the harness plugs into

Dryers are generally 220v. There are 2 110v supplies. You would have to connect to a 220volt outlet.get the correct cors. Way safer

I have a sansui 14" tv.14 yrs old.there is showing 220volt supply at antenna & audio video receiver point.what's the fault.how I will rectify it.thanks

The antenna & Audio Video receiver point should not have mains power getting to it. Especially the antenna which is the aerial. If the aerial has 220 volts on it you would get a lethal electric shock every time you plugged in the aerial lead!
There is clearly something wrong with the units power supply if 220 volts is getting to that part of the unit.

Hi, in Antec 300watt power supply there is 3 cables or input or current 220volt. The cables are Black, Green and white. Which one is earth, which on is live(positive) and which one is negative?

For 120 volt operation use
black for the hot, White for the natural, Green for earth ground.
For 240 volt operation use;

Black and White for the 240 volt and Green for earth ground.
Black is generally designated as the "Hot" or "positive" .
You must make sure the switch on the power supply is set for the voltage you are using. ie: 120/240

Most likely you have a fault with the power supply board or main board. I would start with the power supply board. Does the power light come on when you plug in the set?

Cant switch it on!

Sounds very much like a main power supply that needs a 'kick' to start up. This is often caused by the loss of value of a capacitor in the power supply, one that handles feedback to start the supply initially and carries the signal to shut it down in case of a circuit fault in one of the areas the supply services. Inadequate feedback will make the supply unable to start properly and more likely to shut down even though no fault condition exists. If I'm right, it will get worse and searching for the problem requires an instrument not found in the average home; a capacitance meter with loss measuring capabilities.
