Question about Samsung SGH-d807 Cellular Phone
I dropped my Samsung D-807 and, although it works correctly, it won't slide smoothly and doesn't seem to be closed completely when it ought to be. Anyone else had this problem? Can anyone help? I love this phone and want my smooth sliding back!! Thanks.
You probably have a chip inside the center of the slider. Try taking a vac to it and sucking out any fragments that might make it rough. Otherwise you have damaged your phone and most likely your provider will not replace the phone due to normal wear and tear damage.

Replacing it is not too much trouble for an experienced cell phone technician. But, it's not for anyone who doesn't like to tinker with small things. Here's a video demonstrating the entire process: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJpHHs9QM5U.
