Hello, sorry that you are experiencing a problem. To reset the Dryer we would recommend unplugging the unit of turning off the breaker for 2-3 minutes. If this does not correct the issue we would recommend having a certified technician out to correctly diagnose the issue. If you would like further assistance you can send us your name, address, phone number, model/serial number and the date of which you purchased the appliance to Whirlpool_Reviews@Whirlpool.com. Thank you.

I am getting a F01 code on my whirlpool duet steam Dryer. MOD: WGD9600TWO

The F01 error indicates a primary failure of the control board. Try unplugging the dryer for a while (20-30 minutes); this will reset the control board if the problem was caused by a power surge. This will reset the internal breaker on the dryer. If the error recurs, the main control board needs to be replaced. However, you should inspect the wiring and the motor just to make sure that no other parts have been damaged by whatever caused the board failure.

If the model number of your dryer is WGD9600TW0, then the control unit is part w10141671. See http://www.searspartsdirect.com/part-number/w10141671/0026/110.html . Sometimes, you can repair the old control board by soldering a jumper wire (16 AWG) across a damaged solder connection for one of the relays. However, if you aren't careful, other parts on the board may be damaged beyond repair.

I hope this helps.

MAYTAG 3000 F01 CODE

It's probably a weak or failed component on the board. It's a common issue on those machines and the Whirlpool Duets. It's usually burned at the motor relay or heater relay.
F01 error code flashes when there is a primary control failure.
The only thing which will solve an F01 error code is a new machine control board. These is a catastrophic control board failure. Nothing can correct it. The part number you require is W10205977.

I have a Whirlpool Duet dryer and it cut off and there is a flashing error code on the panel F01 and it will not respond to any of the buttons

F01 - There may be an internal problem with the control, attempt a Hard Reset.

Hard Reset - In some cases the control can be non-functioning or may not accept activation from the control panel. To clear and restart the control follow the these steps:

* Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
* Reconnect the unit to the power source by turning the breaker back on or plugging the unit back into the wall outlet.
* Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the "PF" in the display.
* Start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the machine starts.

The F01 generally indicates a failed electronic machine control board.
This error code can sometimes be caused by a glitch or power surge through the electrical lines.
You may be able to clear this code by unplugging the washer for 5 minutes.
If the code returns after plugging the washer back in, then the electronic machine control board will need to be replaced.

The procedure for accessing and replacing this control board is shown in this image...

Be sure to unplug the washer before accessing internal components.
When you access the control board, I recommend transferring the wires from the old control board to the new replacement control board one connection at a time.
Once you have all of the wires transferred, remove the old control board and mount the new control board in the washer.
Reassemble and test the washer.

The "F01" error code indicates a communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the EEPROM onboard the CCU.
The "F01" can also be displayed if the onboard "Pump Driver" fails to activate.
Generally in order to correct this failure will require replacing the CCU.
There is no way to test and verify if the control board has failed.
The technical data sheet basically states to replace the CCU.
