The fuse mounts beside the heater and the usuall cause for it to blow is a loose blower wheel or a ball of lint in the filter housing. Check out these repair pictures

Looks like an error 32 on my crosley electric dryer. Lights up but won't start.

Good Morning Jeffrey,

I see that you are receiving an error 32 on your Crosley electric dryer. I suggest giving your appliance a hard reset, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker for 2-3 minutes. When you bring power back to your dryer, put it on any cycle and press start. If you are still receiving an error 32, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Shut power off to dryer at breaker. Pull the two wires to thermostat off terminals. Using electrical tape wrap around wires to join them. This will bypass your thermostat. Turn power back on. Start dryer. If it heats your thermostat is faulty. If it doesn't heat it is most likely your heating element.

My Crosley dryer not drying

You will have to ensure the tub belt is not broken or off the motor pulley. Also, you may have a bad push to start switch or door closed switch. Open door and manual hold in door switch and have someone to push the start button if there is any sound or attempt to start these switchs are most likely good and your problem is with the belt. Hope this helps God Bless

CDE6500W Not Heating

The part number is 53-1641. It comes with a high limit and is around $50. You must pop the top on this unit and you will finnd the element in the rear of the dryer. A simple and easy fix.15081c8.jpg

I believe that you probably purchased a kit of fuses which provides fuses for several different types of dryers. That way the parts store can sell you the kit without knowing exactly what type of dryer you have. If I am right about this, there is no yellow fuse in your dryer, you will need to buy a new one to replace the red dot fuse. Also, you will want to find out what is causing it to blow again so quickly, probably your exhaust duct is a little plugged, causing the inside chamber to get too hot.
