Question about Koss Audio Players & Recorders
I'm importing music from an external source (tape player) into the Koss unit, but after maybe 3 songs (15-20 minutes) the Koss unit turns off. I can only figure that it might be due to an extended period of silence between songs, but this is frustrating and I don't know how to correct it, nor do I know this is actually the reason why.

SOURCE: koss cdr200 dual burner
I had an issue similar to this - I found if I didn't try to record from the internal player it worked ok. Does it say 'recover' when you try to record anytime? If you open the unit, you might see some capacitors on the power supply on the left hand side have leakedand the power is cutting in and out. 'Recover' usually comes up when a recording is interupted if you switch the unit off during recording.

Correction tapes DO have a shelf life, Also make sure the ribbon is moving and very important and this may sound dumb, but I have seen it that the ribbon is not a correction ribon. Are the spool turns orange or yellow? should be. Blue is multistrike and will not correct. Don't know the shelf life of ribbons but they do loose the ability to correct.....Good luck try new supplies..
