What is the difference between auxiliary, action, and linking verbs?

hi amanda.
What is the difference between auxiliary and linking verbs? Remember that every sentence must have both a subject and a verb to be complete. Alinking verb is quite different from an action verb in that it doesn't actually express action. ... An auxiliary verb, also referred to as a helping verb, is one that is the part of a verb phrase that helps the main verb.

Subject and verb statments "Margarite-Draw" are they in agreement can you show me an example? subject and verb are in colums need to show that they are in agreement

"Margarite draw" is not correct because the subject, "Margarite" is singular and the verb "draw" is plural, so they do not agree. " Margarite and John draw" is correct because the subject ,"Margarite and John" is plural and agrees with the plural verb "draw". "Margarite draws" is also correct because the singular verb "draws" agrees with the singular subject, "Margarite." The other two examples are correct: plural subject and verb in "girls sing", and plural subject and verb in "we play"

List of all linking verbs

Here is a list. Does it contain them all? I wouldn't know. Is the list printable? That is your problem.
You can ignore the definition at the beginning. You can ignore the reference (at the end).

Linking verb = copula. The most common is be
Here is a definition
A verb has copular complementation when it is followed by a subject complement or a predication adjunct and when this element cannot be dropped without changing the meaning of the verb.
Copular verbs fall into two main classes, according to whether the subject complement has the role of current attribute or resulting attribute.
The most common copular verbs are listed below
Current: appear, be, feel, look, seem, smell, sound, taste.
Resulting : become, get, go, grow, prove, turn.

My problem is I need to know the meaning of Linking Verbs?

Linking verbs are also called copular verbs. The verbs like BE that may be followed immediately by an adjective are called linking verbs. Examples of such verbs followed by an adjective are : feel, look, smell, sound, taste, appear, seem, become ( and get, turn, grow when they mean become).
There are other considerations I will not bother you with.

My plotter seems not to output NMEA to my DSC radio and auto helm

Your plotter can talk to you Radio and your pilot. It sounds like one of two things. You must go into the system setup menu and turn on the nmea sentances. You will need to turn on RMB, RMC, GGl at least. You can turn on all the sentances if you like it does not matter. If this does not fix, check color of wiring is correct. Remember you have to go from NMEA + out (on plotter) to NMEA + IN on Radio. Then you need NMEA - out(on Plotter) to NMEA - IN on Radio.
You can look at the sentances wirth a multi meter coming out of your plotter. You put meter in DCV and connect across the NMEA out lines. You will see the meter move every second or so as it send a sentance.
