With all absorption rice recipes, it is one part rice, to two parts or a little less water or stock.

For 2 very generous portions, I use 3/4 cup rice and 1 1/2 cups water or chicken/vegetable stock.

My rc car is not working because i put it in the water what do you guys think is wrong with it?

You probably just shorted out the reciever or the esc from contact with the water. You can try taking them out and putting them in rice, but if that doesn't work, you will have to buy new hardware.

Iv'e purchased a 5 cup homemaker rice cooker but your leaflet dosen't explain how much rice or water ratio

I am sure that there is some official rice water ratio, but my method works for me.

1. Rinse the rice until no more "white" comes off of it and the water runs clear.

2. Let sit for one hour in water.

3. Drain water.

4. Add water to 1" over the top of rice and start in cooker.

5. Add 1 cup of water per day until rice is used up.

I have purchased a homemaker rice cooker (5 cup) from Kmart. the owners manual does not tell me how much water to put in for the cooking process.

I think it's the lines on the side of the bowl. For one cup of rice, fill the water up to the first line (with the rice in the bowl), and so on.

I bought a homemaker Rice Cooker (5 Cup) and it leaves out telling us how much water to add to the rice ?

I have the same cooker and it had the same problem. I generally use a tip taught to me by a chinese lady of filling the pot with water up to the level of my first knuckle of my index finger above the rice. Or for more detail http://www.wikihow.com/Cook-Rice-in-a-Rice-Cooker or http://www.buzzle.com/articles/rice-cooker-instructions.html
