SOURCE: Lose wire with 6Wires connector... need diagrams of pin out

(There are different versions of the ba-200, so I'm assuming they al use the same wiring/pinout...) if you look at the amp on the enclosure(right-side up... so the writin goes left->right): The top left pin is #1, beside it is #2, then #3. The bottom left pin is #4, beside it is #5, then #6. #1 Right speaker positive input #2 Empty #3 12 Volt Constant Power #4 Left speaker positive input #5 Remote turn on / Acc power input #6 Ground Now there's supposed to be a 15-amp fuse on pin #3 (12v constan power).

Need a wiring diagram for the gta4...please advise.

im not to familar with your amp but iv wired a lot of amps. You should just have your power ground remote and your sound. For your 12v+ You should not use anything less than about a 4 gauge wire fuzed and ran strait to your battery for this hook up your ground wire is to be no futher than a foot from your amp grounded to the vehicles chasis not over painted surface but a solid metal to metal contact with a good fitting for you connection on both ends. Then of coarse your remote which is labeld remote on your amp it is the only power source use to power your amp up and down it both completes the circuit and alows your amp to be manualy triggared with when you car reciever is on this remote wire is very important if you are doing the hook up your self you will want to make sure first that you if you have a factory radio in your vehicle to isolate that wire using a 12v tester. If you have an after market stereo in your vehicle such as a jvc kenwood alpine sony ect then you should have a blue wire with a white stip that is on the exsisting harness. That is your remote amp wire and it will tie in to your amps remote wire to power it up when the reciever is on or power it down when the reciever is off. My names Josh good luck with wiring the amp.

I have an Alpine IVA-D900 got from a garage sale

well first the screen itself is just that.. A screen. They should have sold you the brain that goes with it.. That is where everything plugs into such as the 2 screen outputs and the amp outputs it also has a A-i net plug.. From experience the brain is pricey.. That is if you can still get it from alpine. I suggest Ebay to see if someone wants to sell the brain to that screen. Hopefully you didnt pay much for it. My guess is $600 for the brain

My name is Noah. I have a Volfenhag zx 7150 2 channel amp, and I was wondering if I could use this amp to run my mids and highs. And if yes, how would I run the wiring?

Hello violentj_1_u,

Yes, the amp can be used to power normal speakers on 2 channels.

The best way to wire the amp to a stock receiver (head unit) is to use a pair of wiring harnesses, one the standard harness that plugs into the vehicle wiring, the other a "reverse" harness that plugs into the stock receiver.

First remove the plug from the receiver and plug in the "reverse" harness. Run the speaker leads from the reverse harness to your amp inputs or to a line output converter (LOC) and RCA's to the amp. Then run the amp speaker outputs to the standard harness speaker wires. Plug the original receiver plug into the standard harness and splice the remaining wires, 12V constant, 12V accessory, ground, illumination, etc, together. Connect the 12V switched wire to your amp remote terminal.

Hope this helps.

Sub cutting out

500W x 1 @ 2ohm

How did you "switch the sub from 2ohms to 4 ohms"?

If you have the swr-1222d as listed, your only options are wiring 1 or 4 ohm, as it is a dual 2 ohm voicecoil.

If it was wired @ 1 ohm - you may have already done the damage to your amplifier - as it is not rated @ 1ohm mono.

There are 3 reasons the amplifier will go into protect mode while playing...
Thermal - overheating due to too low impedence.
Ground Loop/Short Circuit - Blown voicecoil, bad amplifier ground, tinsel slap, etc.
Overload - Impedence not within specs.

Disconnect every wire (including RCAs) from the amplifier. Reconnect only power and ground - make a short wire to loop from power terminal to remote terminal.

If the amplifier stays on without turning off - remove the jumper, add the remote wire, and try again.

If it turns off - the problem is internal and needs repair.

Still on? plug in 1 rca, and re-try.... then the other.

Still going??

Now use an Ohm Meter - or Digital multimeter set to ohms 20, and check both voicecoils. They should read 2ohms +/- .5ohm.

If they are OK, wire up the 4ohm load (series the voicecoils) and turn the gain on the amplifier to 1/2.

Retry -

If the amplifier continues to fail at higher volumes - the thermal protection relay has become weakened because of your improper wiring, and will need to be repaired to solve your issue.

Need pinout for Alpine CDA-7940 head unit

facing the back of the 7940 the top left corner is pin 16 the top right corner is pin 9. The bottom left is pin 8 and the bottom right is pin 1. Only a few of the 16 pins are used due to this unit only having pre-outs, no internal amplifier on this unit. Pin 1 red (ignition), Pin 2 pink/black (interrupt), Pin 3 orange (Illumination), Pin 8 black (ground), Pin 9 blue (power antenna), Pin 10 blue/white (remote turn on), Pin 16 yellow (battery).

Chrysler Part No. P56038933AB Radio Wire Color code

1982 to 2001 wiring harness color code Chrysler.

12V constant pink or pink/white stripe
12V accessory red/white stripe
Antenna/Amp turn on white
12V Illumination black/yellow stripe
Left front + dark green
Left front - brown/red stripe
Right front + purple
Right front - blue/red stripe
Left rear + brown/blue stripe
Left rear - brown/yellow stripe
Right rear + blue/ orange stripe
Right rear - blue/white stripe

there is no ground wire in the harness, the metal braided strap is the ground.
use a ring terminal, speed clip, and screw to attach the ground wire from new radio
when replacing infinity radios and speakers, there are 4 wires instead of 2 at the speaker plug. the large gauge blue and black wires are the power supply for the amp, the other 2 are signal wires from the deck and will match up to the wire color codes above. simply cap off the power and ground and use the other 2 for speaker leads.

One thing i hate to see is someone who just hacks off the plugs behind the radio because they are too cheap/lazy/dumb to buy a wire harness adapter for the nice new aftermarket deck they just bought. ive seen everything from masking tape to house wire nuts used to connect wires, and they never last.
there is only 1 reliable permanent way to connect wires together - SOLDER AND SHRINK WRAP!!! whether you're connecting wiring for a radio, fog lights, repairing a cut wire, etc solder those wires, you'll be glad you did when you never have a problem with that circuit again.

This is a listing for part #'s for dash kits wire harness adapters
all part numbers are metra unless otherwise noted
dash kit 99-6700, 99-6701 and 99-6500 will work for most cars
wire harness adapter 70-1817
reverse harness( to replace factory plug that have been cut off) 71-1817
speaker adapter plugs 72-6510, non amped 72-6513 when equiped w infinity system and bypassing fact amps

no antenna adapters are required until you hit 2002 model year.
beginning in 2005 chrysler switched to a high speed LAN system in all its cars and trucks. there is no longer a switched ignition lead in the harness.
Good Luck

Wiring harness on my 94 Ranger

I have a 94 Ranger XLT extended cab. Here are the power/ ground connector pinouts and wire colors as shown in the factory service manual:
Pin 1 LG/Y Radio Memory Power (B+)
Pin 2 BK Ground
Pin 3 Y/BK Power (Hot in RUN or ACCY)
Pin 4 LB/R Illumination (dims with dash lights)
Pin 5 O/BK Illumination (does not dim)
Pin 6 BK/LG Ground

From the diagrams, looks like either ground will work.

Hope this helps.

Alpine 3523 no instructions or wiring

I know this is a little late but I have one and the hookup is very easy, On the right side of the amp there is a six pin plug. Above it it says BATT REMOTE GND. The two pins below BATT are the battery (V+). The pin below REMOTE is the (V+) switched turn on. The two pins below GND are the ground. The rest is simple. Two RCA inputs. The switch to select MONO(R), STEREO, or MONO(L) works as explained. If you want stereo, put the switch in the middle and supply two inputs and two speakers. The MONO(R) and MONO(L) are to select a single input that will supply a single (bridged) output. Connect two speakers and they will supply the same source or connect one speaker to the outer speaker terminals for higher power output. The variable or fixed switch just bypasses the GAIN CONTROL knobs(used for Alpine's 8 pin DIN plug on unit, for older EQ's and head units.
