Question about LG Televison & Video
One of the Y-SUS board, the Y-Buffer board may be bad, or both. Recommended repair is to change both of them at the same time, otherwise if you could not be sure which board is bad, you change one board, you will burn it out again.

This model was known for issues with the Y-sustain, Y-drives, and the Z-sustain boards. These boards help process the picture image to the screen.
When one or more of these boards fail, the screen stays black, and you only have audio & on/off.
You could call LG and try to get your TV repaired at a discount if you can convince LG to honor this known issue.
Another issue could be the actual panel has gone bad. The plasma panel in your TV has a two warranty and LG would fix that for free. Well…it would be free as long as it’s not past two years of your date of purchase.
What zip code are you in?

You have a bad y main and maybe a bad buffer board. Need to have the buffers checked before replacing anything else.
