Question about Frigidaire GLEB27S7A Electric Single Oven
Can't get beep to shut off F10 just flashes, had to shut breaker off at panel. It does not respond to any button commands.
I stopped the beeping sound .Unplug the oven( disconnect from power source ). First remove the digital display that shows time , error etc. To do that, remove the back panel top where the timer is located. Carefully unscrew and open the panel . On the circuit board, you will see a black circular plastic object with 2 thin foils attached to a mirror. This is the mike. You have to cut off one of these this foil or you can remove the mirror. That will turn the beeper off forever. But still you have to replace the thermostat.

From the Frigidaire service manual:
"F10: Runaway Temperature.
SUGGESTED CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. (F10 only) Check RTD Sensor Probe & replace if necessary.
If oven is overheating, disconnect power. If oven continues to
overheat when the power is reapplied, replace EOC. Severe
overheating may require the entire oven to be replaced should
damage be extensive."
-hopefully it's just a bad temperature sensor!
