What you have to do is simple.
1. Remove the battery cover, battery and SIM
2. Use the screwdriver or tweezers to gently pry off the RF grommet located on the antenna cap (below)

  • Removing the antenna cover:
    3. Carefully use the flat end of the tweezers to release two latches on the top end of the antenna cover, then carefully lift the antenna cover away from the phone.
  • Removing the transceiver PC board shield:
4.Using the T5 screwdriver, remove the 6 housing screws from the phone. Set the screws aside for re-use (see Figure 10).
5.Lift the metal shield away from the phone.
  • Removing the housing:
    6. Insert the plastic shim between the front housing and the chassis assembly. Slide the plastic shim around the phone between the front housing and the phone to release the housing catches along the sides of the front housing
  • Removing the housing:
    7. Carefully lift the bottom end of the front housing over the phone. The earpiece will still be connecting the front cover to the rest of the phone at the top of the phone so be careful
  • Removing the earpiece speaker from the front housing:
    8. Use the plastic shim or tweezers to separate the earpiece speaker from the front housing
  • Removing the LCD screen:
    9. Use the tweezers to release the display module assembly latch located at the side of the display module
  • Removing the LCD screen:
    10. Lift up the top edge of the display module
    11. Carefully thread the display flex cable through the slot in the chassis assembly and lift the display module away from the chassis
Replace the old screen with new an

I unplugged all my phones in the house. Yet I got a busy signal when calling the house phone from a cell phone.

Somewhere in the house phone wiring, either wires are shorted, or have the phone company call and check the line outside the house. What I had to do is find where the phone line came into my house and connects to the rest of the house lines, then disconnected each cord one at a time and called on cell phone to see if that cord changed anything.
Call the phone company to see if there is trouble on the line FIRST.

Broken housing on 6255I

The best suggestion is to bring your phone to the nearest Nokia Care Center. Or you may wanna check any cell phone stores. There should be an available casing/housing in any cell phone stores.

Have a good one!

How do i remove the housing from nokia luna

its not, just analyse the housing... the housing comes in pair, the back and the front. locate the connecting parts and slowly insert a thin but strong plastic in it and the slowly move it to open the hidden clips of the housing... hopr you can do it.

Works in one house but not in another

Yes these phone's are sensitive to the phone jack its plugged into as it powers the backlight and the whole phone itself. You need to check and see at the NID Network Interface device outside and check and see how much voltage you got comming in there. This is a problem too with the phone is if you have more then two phones in the house on this NID, Trust me I have this phone and it is verry sensitive and it requires poer to run the unit this is a factory issue as well they built these phones without thinking about the customers situation.

thanks

No sound on my house phone

The phone company just brings the line to the demarc( the box on the side of your house) go there and if it is a new style box there will be a place to unplug the house and you can plug in your phone. If you have dial tone and the "demarc" the hose wiring needs to be strigtened out, if you do not have dial tone and the "demarc" then it is the telephone companies problem. It is much easier to test with a corded phone if you have one , good luck

My screen on my lg kg800 is scratched how can i replace it with a new one

is the actual screen inside scratched or is the outer phone housing screen cover scratched? There is a difference. The actual LCD screen is inside the phone housing and is protected by the phones housing. If the actual LCD screen somehow was scratched it can be replaced very easily and usually inexpensively. Try Ebay for the LCD. If the phones outer clear housing is scratched you can also replace the housing either by purchasing the same phone used and using its housing or some "dummy" phones can be used for there housings also. If the scratch is not really bad I have used rubbing compound to remove fine scratches, good luck!
