I do not doubt it. But is it normal? If not, how is the voltage, and how is the resistance of the wiring? I'm betting it's bad connections!

No power is there a fuse?

Yes! it may have a fuse, or the power transformer sometimes has a built in thermal fuse that will open causing the unit to go silent, unplug and remove back, [few screws] look for a fuse near a power transfomer and replace with same rating, if none can be found the power transformer is probably open.

The power went out now it won't turn on.

Look for a fuse or reset on the back of the unit. Check the manaul for their location. You may want to remove the case to check fuses mounted on the board itself. When the power went out something blew. Hopefully it was a fuse. I assume you have tried it at a few outlets already...

Fluid in bubble tubes

The same thing happened to my ijuke the fluid just disappeared. I called crosley three weeks ago the person I talked to said the service department would call me back.I am still waiting...I talked to my sister, she bought an ijuke at target the same day I bought mine. she said that she had her ijuke lights on and the fluid just started squirting out of the top of the tube by the silver medallion and that everywhere the fluid touched it melted the plastic.

Dehumidifer - Working??? Not Sure.

if you can verify that the compressor is still active (is there a noticeable hum or buzz and / or do the room lights slightly dim during power on?) then the most likely problem is a loss of freon. if the compressor never turns on, then a faulty humidistat is electrician can run a test of this by "jumpering it out" to force on the compressor motor.
