A fuel problem. I would say it's the float chamber. Turn the fuel off, drain it out and remove it, then give it a thorough clean. The float is probably sticking so might be wise to get a service kit...

Mover sometimes does not move and other time moves real slowly

ck belts that run hydraulic pumps for tire drive , it might have slipped a bit with chain caught , now belts skid instead of transferring power to pumps , also these pumps might have a manual pressure relief reset , I was thinking they only used them on bigger units , but you might have one as well ,hey its possible , this will need to be reset prior to continuing mowing (refer to manual for location )

Mower starts runs for awhile then just cuts off

Hi alton, it sounds like the coil is shot. As the mower is heating up it's expanding and not keeping the spark going.

My toro ride on mower cuts out after 45 minutes or so have to let it cool down for awhile before i can start it

Try this:
As soon as the mower begins to shut off, stop, keep it running, lift the hood and loosen the gas cap. If it begins to run better, clear the vent hole on the cap. If not, you have wasted very little time.

on the side of your mower by the exhaust, there should be a plastic cover about 2"wide by 3" long, inside of this is your air filter take it out & clean it with a air blow gun, or tap it until clean, see if that helps.

Have a 17.7 HP MTD riding mower that wants to cut out and have determined it to be carburetor. Need help figuring how to get it off.Fuel filter looks good and clean. Not getting enough fuel to run. Will...

turn both you main jet and air fuel screws all the way in...do not turn them hard because they are pointed at the other end and if you turn them tight you will round them off and then you will have to replace them...after turning them both all the way in turn them both one and a half turns out...start your mower and let it warm up, as it is running now turn your air fuel counterclockwise until it appears to stumble then stop and turn it back 1/8 of a turn. after the mower warms up move your throttle to a higher rpm and adjust the main jet the same way only when it stumbles you must stop and turn it back clockwise 1/4 of a turn.

MTD Yardman push mower runs fine for awhile then cuts off.

Try buying a new plug first but if it continues then I would say that there is debris in the carb.
