SOURCE: power supply to garmin zumo 450
When I installed the Garmin cradle for my Zumo 450 on my bike I installed the power cable directly to the Main line going into my headlight.I then ran the cable out of the back of the headlight and hid it behind my windshield and then, out through the handle bars up to the cradle, you can barely see it. Works great for me!
Hope this helped,

Hmmm, I think the routes are supposed to be on the device memory, like trip logs. You should have like 130 MB of free storage on the device...
SOURCE: Zumo 550 Trip Log
In one of the menu's you can select the trip log to be visable, press wrench, press map, press to the right of triplog to switch from visable / hidden. press back, press user settings and there is manage trip log. BTW all this info can be found in the Fine Manual!
SOURCE: Crackling noise then no audio at all while on motorcycle
In my opinion I suspect either a bad internal connection to the built in speaker or a faulty Bluetooth connection. Does the problem occur on both the helmet and speaker? If so, then the unit has likley had a circuit malfunction. If the helmet works fine but not the speaker, then I'd guess a broken or damaged speaker and/or speaker wire. Crackling noise is typical for broken wires or lose connections. Any decent TV repair place would be able to sort through it about 10 mintues before you have to return to for factory repair.
