I have a brinks safe that has a combination lock and a key but i cant remember my combination and was wondering how I can reset it. Model number 5059

Each Brinks 5059 safe has a different default combination, so to get the original combination you must either contact Honeywell (the parent company for Brinks safes) at 1-800-223-8566.

You need to send them a notarized letter showing safe ownership in order to get the master combination. When you call Honeywell, you will need to provide your safe's model number, the serial number (found on the right of the safe, near the model number), and your key number.

I have a Brinks Home security safe model 5059. I have lost my only key. is it possible to open without a key? I not how do i get a new key made for this model?

On the lock might be a number, take that to a Brinks dealer who should be able to cut a key! You should have to provide ID for security purposes!

Lost combination model 5059 brinks key and combination safe

if no key -- try to contact the manufacturer customer service,. be near the safe when calling in, they may have some number or other reference on the safe to help you out with that one... alternatively your local locksmith could assist (for a fee)

Best regards

Besides the phone number or email address for Brinks, or honeywell or sisco, how can I open my Brinks 5059 safe if I lost the combination (I still have the keys)

Brinks safes are very reliable and secure, Unfortunately there is no way of recovering the the combination of the same without speaking with manufacture. Now you could do it the old fashion way that is to listen to clicks from the combination lock while moving the nob, However this takes alot of practice. The only the I would suggest to do is to speak with the Manufacture. I do appoligize once again and I hope you have better luck. Have a good day

I'm pursuing a solution to the same problem. So far, I'm told that Brinks safes are made by Honeywell/Sisco. Call 1-800-832-5834 for customer service. They will play you a recording that will tell you what you need to do to get a replacement key ($7.95 - $10.95)
