SOURCE: Hello I have a KC3814 automatic watch. It appears

It should still be under warranty.

If you have registered it or have a proof of purchase you should be able to have it repaired free of charge.

It is likely that only the maker will be able to supply a button that will fit your watch but first speak to a watch repair shop to see if they can fit one for you.

If you go to the watch makers web site they usually have a "Store locator" link which allows you to find your nearest retailer, who should be able to help.

Changed battery on Accurist BJ3547 as hands stopped though digital signal was still OK. New battery installed, digital signal still OK but hands still don't move . A video said a reset req'd, How?

  1. The "AC "or "All Clear Circuit" button if the watch has one will be found on the back of the movement. It will usually be a small silver or gold dot marked "AC" or reset. In some cases it will be a small hole or plunger you depress with a pin punch.
  2. Clear watch memory. Look for and find the small gold or silver dot on the back of the Seiko watches movement. It will be marked "AC" if it exists. Use the metal tweezers and touch the "AC" button with one prong and the battery with the other. In some cases you just push in the plunger on the "AC" button. In the case of a plunger or hole press it with a pin punch.

Pandora bracelet

The silver bead that doesn't move, at the ends of the bracelet, opens up as it is hinged. Take your finger nail and push in the crack of this bead. This should open it up. When you go to close it, make sure you press hard and hear a snap.

I have a sport watch fossil CH2470. the second hand is not moving, stuck on 12, but everything else works. how do i fix this?

Your watch is Chronograph watch and the big centre seconds hand is for chronograph function only - not day to day seconds counting. Check the small dials and you will see that the small seconds hand is already counting seconds- this small one is seconds counter. To engage chrono hand push the upper push button once. To stop it - push the same button again. to return to zero- push lower button. Battery replacement procedure for Casio 901 DW-5600?

hi, if the back plate on the watch the part that is against your wrist has four screws holding the silver back plate onto the actual watch then you need to undo these four screw, once undone you lift the back plate off and then this gives you access to the battery, the screws are small philips (cross head screw) so you will need a small screw driver, their is also a little bracket that holds the battery in place you can either push this over to allow the battery out or undo the small screw that holds this bracket in place this will then allow the battery to fall out,

If their are no screws in the back plate then all you need to do is get a very fine flat head screwdriver and look around the edge of the back plate and you should see a little bit on one of the edges that allows you to put a screwdriver into to allow you to lever the back plate off if it has no screws then its just a push fit so just pry the back off and this will give you access to the battery then like above the battery will be held in place by small bracket undo this then remove the battery.

when fitting the new battery make sure you dont touch the top and bottom of the battery as this will flatten it really quick so just push it in place then refit the bracket then either push the back plate back on or screw it back on depending on the type of back plate once this is done you watch will be working again

Size 377 battery wont go in - need to unscew something?

I presume that a 377 battery is the same number as what came out. Sometimes there is a small piece of metal that is a strap that helps hold the batter in. Usually, then there is a very small screw that you have to loosen to remove the plate or just move it a bit to get the battery in. Be sure that the battery is not upside down from the way that the original was placed in. Also when putting in a new battery be sure that you don't use metal tweezers to hold the battery as it will short the battery and discharge it. Use your fingers or plastic tweezers.

Setting time and date on my Cartier Pasha watch.

Do not be so afraid. Unscrew that big crown fully, pull off and then you will see the real setting crown(quite small one), called an underlayed crown.
That little chain is hard enough to withstand your pulls, unless you are drunk. :)))
When you get that small crown handy- you can set the time and all the features.
If the small crown is not moving, your watch is rusty and you will need a proper watchmakers help.
Don't forget to rate, please.

Motorcycle clock

I have one of these, the cruiser version with passenger seat. It was a take apart nearly everything situation to get to the battery. on the right side of the motorcycle (throttle side) you should find two very small screws. remove these. I the cover should come off. If it doesn't come off easily, loosen the kick stand plate a bit. Inside you will now find the clock back. two small screws. remove them and the cover and you should be able to get at the battery. good luck
