Same Problem

-   T220 HD fine with vga cable not with dvi. -   chadanuk

Jan 01, 2009

-   So I hooked up my samsung t220hd to my computer through the DVI cable and set the monitor input to DVI.
I started up my computer but all I see on the screen is "mode not supported".

I put the computer on hibernate and then it shows me the hibernating screen.
I tried to wake it up again and I see windows reloading the system but then after a sec it again shows "mode not supported".

How can I install the driver if the screen doesn't even show me the desktop?

my previous Viewsonic monitor was also a wide screen 22" lcd so I don't understand why I'm having this problem.-   maanibhai

-   I re-installed the OS for an emachine and now I can not change the resolution. The resolution is also set too low to re-intall the DSL and other programs. It will not give me an option to change the resolution higher. HELP!-   blondpeachga

-   I cannot get the native 1680x1050 on al 2216w. My compaq nx 7000  xp pro with ati card has that a native display resolution so I expected external monitor with the same resolution will be a snap. NO.
The most I can get is 1280 x 1024 I am VERY anoyed as there is no support from Acer (the driver is not on CD and the downloaded thing is a joke, windows would not open it)
So far lost a day doing drivers ...nothing works.
Will go back to store SOON!!!-   nehopsa

-   I can not set the screen resolution of my samsung syncmaster T220HD to 1680 x 1050. This resolution is not offered with the screen properties although I connected previously already succesfully a 1680 x 1050 monitor to the same pc.-   francis76

I have the same exact problem. This computer was not in use for a while but the monitor was used on 2 other computers with no problems, then I recently reinstalled to OS on the Dell 4600 and the resolution WILL NOT change at all, there are not even any options to adjust it or update the drivers or anything. Its actually set to 800 x 600 but it has nothing has changed!

Monitor won't adjust to match input resolution (1280x1024). Auto adjust feature doesn't make a difference
