SOURCE: There is a small plate

Normally, the "plate" will be installed on the outside. It is also normal for there to be room for the chain to go between the sprocket and the frame although you of course don't want to have this happen. You need to adjust the limit screw on the derailleur to allow fulling shifting into the smallest sprocket without allowing the chain to jump off.

Have an older sears roebuck bicycle with serial numberI think of 857472750 followed by 520-783

As has been discussed numerous times it is usually not useful to try to get info from a bike serial number. That is especially true for department store bikes, which were made by various manufacturers, even in the same year. Sometimes components (hubs, tires, etc. have date codes on them that will tell you when the component was manufactured. The model name, if any, will be on the bike - frame tube or chainguard. Also any department store bike, unless very old, is of little value. Best way to date it is to Google Sears (# of speeds) bicycle and look at the Image results, then see if a similar bike to yours has a notation on the web page where it's posted as to what year it is.

Looking for the make of a frame with this serial number U485606471 or U4356064171

Locating your bike's serial number. The majority of serial numbers are located under the bottom bracket where the two pedal cranks meet. Simply turn your bike upside down and record the number. If there is no serial number there then check places like the headset at the front of the bike or the rear stays.

I just bought my 3 year old niece a pull start little motor bike that resembles a pee wee 50 however it has kawasaki stickers on the blue and white guards etc. The frame number (which I found on the neck...

Traditionally Kawasaki motorcycles are Green. They are all made in China and are knock offs. It is unlikely your will find a year by the serial number. A search of model number L5G2YEAM brought up nothing. Yours was the 127th bike made. The front fork stem is the correct place for it to be. You may find labels under the seat.

Look at the link and also the image tab.

My 10 year old whirlpool super capacity 456's right front control knob started to burn with flames shooting out. Disconnected plug from wall and have been using lighter to start burners. Any idea as

there's a wiring harness with 4 or sometimes 5 switches depending on the model you have that slides onto the valve so when you turn the knob that burner will light, the switch most likely shorted out.if this is a regular stove with an oven and burners on top look down at the bottom, under the oven door you'll see a draw, open the draw and look on the frame not on the draw on the frame and you'll find a tag with the model and serial number on it,send the model number and i can look up your model.

Location of all vin numbers on bike and engine. ?

The vin number commonly known as the frame or chassis number can be found on the front tube of the frame, headstock to the righthand siide at this point the steering yoke is affixed, if this is a uk bike the vin plate should be on the righthand of the frame also, close to your. Right knee when you sit on the bike, but the number on this plate is the same as the one found on the frame, the engine number is located also on the right hand side ontop of the crackcase just above the clutch cover, all of this information can be found on the log book, or registration doc if you have one hope this helps

I have just aquired an old Cagiva 125 off road bike

The engine number can proove what engine type it is but engines can be changed over the years ,your best chance of finding out more info on the bike is to finf the frame number ,this will give you all the history on the bike ,as its very unlikely the frame has been changed since the bike was made.

How do you find the year of manufactory on a suzuki pw 80 motorcycle

Look on your title for the VIN number (frame number). Call a Suzuki dealer and they should be able to tell you what year and model you have. This assumes the bike is within around 15 years old.

I need info to deturman what exzat year and make block no. N702-110421

The engine number does not matter. The frame number is what will yeild the information you want. A dealer can tell from the frame number, but if the bike is really old, dealers probably will not be able to tell because old files and reference books get tossed out after many years.

Year? Parts?

The frame number (VIN #) is what will tell you the information needed. Call a dealer with the VIN number ant they can tell you exactly what you have got. Chances are the dealer can tell you. The Timberwolf came in 2x4 and 4x4 models. You can look up the part numbers for both and see if the casings have the same part numbers. If so, you should be able to do a swap out. Check out the part numbers on the frames.

Go to the site below where you can see a parts diagram for your specific bike. You will select the actual brand, year, model, etc., once you go to the site. Part numbers and prices are also shown. You can order parts from this site. In the event no price is shown on a particular part, the part is not in stock.
