This, to me, says "low battery." Plus it in to your computer for a little while (thirty minutes will do to test it). If not, there is a small reset button on the very bottom of the player, you can push it with the tip of a pin or something. Hold it for about 3 seconds, and release - should do the trick!

My go clever quantum 1010N does not get past the boot up loading screen. you turn the power on it goes to a white screen that says loading and goes no further, why?

Booting into safe mode usually indicates a problem with the machine. When powering it on, keep punching F8 for the "Safe Mode" boot option window and try choosing "Last good Configuration". You might try Restoring it back to before this started. Click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools and then System Restore.

I have IBM P3 and i want to change win xp but its not booting pliz help me and it doen't give me option of booting

Turn the computer on. Keep your eyes glued to the bottom of the monitor screen. This usually comes by fast, so keep your eyes peeled.

When the computer manufacturer logo screen comes up, look for the -> enter CMOS Setup, or enter BIOS Setup, <- key to press.

Write it down.
If Windows loads on your computer, allow it to load, and run for a few minutes.
Turn the computer off normally.
WAIT 20 seconds, or so; then turn the computer back on.

AS SOON AS you press the Power On button, start tapping on the enter BIOS Setup key. (Or enter CMOS key)
Tap in 2 second intervals.

If you hear beeps ignore them. They are Stuck Key Error Code beeps, and it is you that is doing it.

Once you get into BIOS. look for Boot Options.
In Boot Options set the first boot device to CDROM.

REMEMBER, you have to Save Changes, or it will be like you have done nothing at all.

Here are a few things you can do or try

Restart the computer. If you are already in Windows, you can do this from the Windows Start menu, go to Turn off computer and click Restart. As the computer restarts, watch for a progress bar at the bottom of the screen. press F8 about once every second. Immediately press F8 before the progress bar reaches the right side of the screen. From the Windows Start-up menu, highlight Safe Mode and press Enter. Wait for your desktop to appear, and then make the necessary repairs (for example, uninstall programs or devices). When the repairs are done, restart the computer, and allow it to boot normally.

Alternate:

From the Windows Start menu, click Run. In the Open field, type MSCONFIG and click Ok. On the BOOT.INI tab, check /SAFEBOOT.

Click Restart when prompted.

Turn Off the computer, now as soon as you hit the power button, keep on holding "Alt" key & keep on tapping "F10 key,ie: Alt+F10, it will open the recovery console ,select full factory restore and follow on screen instruction. (Note:this will erase all datas on the computer)

If you have a recovery disk for windows Vista you can downgrade.

Follow this trouble shooting:

Boot from Disk

1. Insert the Recovery CD in to the ODD of the computer
2. Turn off the computer
3. Turn it back on and keep tapping F12 to access the boot menu
4. Once you're in the boot menu select ODD/CD/DVD and keep tapping enter until the file is loading
5. Just follow on the standard procedures of installation until it finished.
6. reboot the system
