Www.repairclinic.com should have the parts you need. If replacing them doesn't work, then you can return the parts within 30 days. Let me know how this turns out.

Check this: if timer is timing down then it has power so fuse is ok. there is no internal fuse.
Two more things to check: if you can hear a low humming noise when drum should be turning, then the motor capacitor is faulty - very common fault and part not dear. no explicit need to get bosch part - you could be able to source locally. to test for this fault, take top off and push the drum. if it starts turning then this confirms the fault. check also door catch - this operates an internal switch and if catch is broken then appliance will not start. another reason could be a bad capacitor, then you will have no drum rotation (this must be fixed by a technician).

Do you ever hear the motor start? It sounds like the start relay, but it's hard to say without being there and testing. Tell me this, does the door switch turn the drum light on and off? Push it in (the switch) with the door open with a pencil or something and watch to see if the light goes off. If the light never goes off when you test the switch, that's the problem. If it does go on and off with the switch, it's probably the start relay.

If the start relay is not the problem , it's the motor itself. (or a connection going to it). The start button goes to the start relay and on to the motor. That's it. If you had a voltage tester, I could walk you right through it. Give the wires the tug test (pull on them for tightness). Look at things very closely, you may see it. A simple voltage tester is cheap at Depot. Think about it, I will help you...

You can find both the part # and order it from marcone.com
Use the ilistrated parts lookup (on the left hand side) and use your model #

There is a relay behind the panel that will need to be replaced. You can get a service manual from www.retrevo.com or equivelant. Usually the relays just pop out. They can be tested with multi-tester or multi-meter on the ohm setting to see if current is making it's way across relay.

Yes it is behind the panel next to knob. It is about $40 for sensor. To have tech put it in may cost $250.

Drum knock when spin cycle

Hello.
Noises are common when using a two-in-one washer and dryer, as clicking or whirring is part of the cleaning process during the transition to the next cleaning process. The GE Spacesaver washer and dryer combo uses a top-loading washer stacked beneath the front-loading dryer, and uses an agitator that makes noises throughout the spin cycle. Although whirring or clicking is normal, other noises or malfunction indicates a problem with the washer that requires minor troubleshooting. Professional repair is necessary if the washer continues to experience problems during the spin cycle, as there may be a problem with the washer's agitator.
1 Open the washer's door and check the balance of the load's clothes. Clothes that are unevenly distributed around the agitator cause excessive shaking and result in an imbalance during the spin cycle. Reduce the load's size by removing clothing if the washer's drum is overloaded.
2 Push "Start/Pause" to pause the spin cycle and turn the washer's cycle knob to the "Off" position. Turn the knob to "Spin Only" and press "Start/Pause" to reset the cycle.
3 Turn the wrench counterclockwise or clockwise around the unit's legs to adjust the appliance's balance. The legs are adjustable with the help of a wrench to ensure the unit does not shake while in use. An unleveled unit shakes as it spins, and causes excessive squealing or rattling as it attempts to dry the clothes.
4 Touch "Start/Pause" on the front of the washer's control panel and unplug the washer/dryer unit's power cord from the electric oultlet. Wait two minutes and plug the power cord back into the electric outlet. Push "Start/Pause" to resume the spin cycle.
Thanks.

How to detect microphone in laptop

Hi,

I think it would be better if we check that the built-in microphone is working on your machine.

Internal microphone

The internal microphone is located near the top of the notebook LCD display or near the bottom of the LCD display near the hinge. Use the following best practices to better capture sound with the microphone.

-Adjust the notebook PC screen to place the microphone in the best direction for receiving sound.

-Speak directly into the microphone. Avoid speaking away from the microphone.

-When using the internal microphone, choose an environment without background noise.

Testing the record function on the notebook PC

1. Click Start , then Programs , Accessories , Entertainment , and then Sound Recorder .
2. Click Record (the red dot) and speak into the microphone.
3. When you are finished recording, click Stop (the gray rectangle).
4. To play back the recording, click Play (the gray arrow pointing to the right).

If happens that the recording with the microphone have no sound we have check the settings.

Checking microphone settings

1. Click Start , then Programs , Accessories , Entertainment , and then Volume Control .
2. A Volume Control or Master Volume window opens.
3. Click Options , and then Properties .
4. Select Recording , and make sure Microphone is selected.
5. Click OK . The Volume Control window should change to a Recording Gain Control window.
6. Click Options again and then click Advanced Controls . If Advanced Controls is unavailable, then an alternate microphone is not available. Proceed to the next series of steps.
7. Remove the check next to Alternate microphone , click Close , and test the microphone. If there is still no sound, continue to the next step

Ensuring the correct recording device is selected

1. Access sound properties:

-In Windows XP, to access the sound control panel applet, click Start , then Control Panel . Click Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices , and then click Sounds and Audio Devices .

-In Windows 95, 98, and Me, click Start , Settings , and Control Panel . Double-click Sounds and Multimedia , or Multimedia . The Sounds and Multimedia Properties window opens.

2. Click the Audio tab.

3. Under Sound Playback , select the audio device that is installed on the computer (there should be only one).

4. Under Sound Recording , select the audio device that is installed on the computer. It should be the same as the listing under Sound Playback .

5. Click OK .

6. Close the Sound and Multimedia Properties window and test the recording.

Feel free to reply if happens the steps I've told you is not working. Hope it helps.

Either the control board or the motor has gone bad. Here is the diagnostic mode to run to look for the errors.
The diagnostic test is performed by using the Program Knob. To START THE TEST: • On non-digital display models, turn the Program Knob to start position, Drain/Spin. • On digital display models, turn the Program Knob to start position, Touch Up. • Press Pause/Cancel to turn off LEDs. • Within 5 seconds, press and hold the Option and Pause Cancel buttons until LEDs start sequentially chasing, then release buttons. 1. All the LEDs will sequentially light. Pressing a button below a light cluster will light all the LEDs in that cluster at one time to confirm functionality. 2. Turn the program knob (1) click clockwise from the start position. The hot water solenoid will activate and hot water should enter through the detergent compartment. 3. Turn the program knob (2) clicks from the start position. The bleach water solenoid will activate and cold water should enter through the bleach compartment. 4. Turn the program knob (3) clicks from the start position. The bleach and the wash water solenoids will activate and cold water should enter through the softener compartment. 5. Turn the program knob (4) clicks from the start position. The door lock solenoid will activate. 6. Turn the program knob (5) clicks from the start position. The door lock solenoid will deactivate and the loading door can be opened. 7. Turn the program knob (6) clicks from the start position. The washer will fill and tumble. 8. Turn the program knob (7) clicks from the start position. The washer will fill and spin (leakage test). 9. Turn the program knob (8) clicks from the start position. The drain pump and door lock solenoid will activate and the washer will operate in high spin. SAFETY WARNING: If power is removed during this test, the door can be opened. To prevent injury, DO NOT put your hands inside when the tub is rotating. 10. Turn the program knob (9) clicks from the start position. The control will signal the last error code.
