This is NavyCPOwif- As you read above I have a crazy Maytag H20 as well!

I am a research person so looked around a little last night and found a site. for DIY folks. Every one is halving the same problem. I suggest a civil action suit !!! But in the mean time I am going to have my Navy Avionics Technition husband tackle it rather then deal with Maytag right now. " cost almost as much as a military fighter jet, so he should be able to do it!" BUt I wanted to pass this information along to other DIY folks out there. We have not done it yet since ours just went crazy Friday night. So we disconected the door /water connection. But everything else seems to be working fine at this point. Serious about the class action suite!!! these should be recalled we bought ours in GA June 2006 so it seems that the ones made in the 2006 time frame are the ones with the issues- I assuem that the folks that are having problems with in the 7 8 month time frame have the same lot due to ours is 18 months old but we paid $2600 were some have paid $1500.00. So not sure but something needs to be done becouse the list of other issues with this fridge seems pretty long and very expensive.... Good luck!

Site to fix panel issue: for $3 to $20- DIY:
I have just fix my maytag M#MFI2568AEB at a cost of $3.00 Believe or not. You need to go to website hhttp://68.195.103.87:8083/liny/maytagice2o.htm Everything you need is on the site. (yes gets Maytag off the hook, but gets your fridge going quicker)
DIY site for those interested:

Comment by Navycpowif, posted on Jan 17, 2008 We fixed our ourself with the information I posted above- cost was $5. no problems.... no new panel just 2 circuits.

SOURCE: How to remove front panel of dryer

Be sure to unplug the machine from the mains,

1.-Remove the top cover of the machine, very straight forward.
2.-Unclip the universal coupling from the main timer to the back of the knob.
3.- The whole knob assembly is held in place by a backing plate.
4.- There are 2 clips at the top of this backing plate raise them and the backing plate and knob can be pulled out.
5.- there is a plastic clips but be careful not to break it.

Your ffeed back and ratting are so important for me. thank you

Was this helpful?

The knob breaks when it has been turned in the wrong direction several times. It's a safety device so as not to damage the main timer.

Replace dishwasher

Is your DW plumbed into the garbage disposal as many are? Or does it have the drain line running into a pvc opening in the sink drain line? Remove the drain line to see if water gushes out. If no or minimal water leaves your drain line from the DW, then the problem is internal in the DW. Most likely cause is a plugged screen at the inside bottom of your DW, or the pump is blocked. Best way to resolve is to get a wetvac and just suck all the water out of the inside before you remove the DW. Otherwise you will have water splashing out on your floor. If you can see the screen is plugged up after doing so, then pull the screen out and then turn the DW on. If operating normally it will go into the pump out mode first before adding any water. Turn off the water to the DW under the sink first to eliminate any concern about adding additional water into an already filled up DW. Good Luck!

Kenmore DW model #665 16023403 will not turn on. There is power to the DW but the panel does not light up. Checked circuit breaker. Door tightly shut and latches. Just 3 yrs old. Would love to fix myself....

The electronic control panel should be replaced and cost about $240. It is easy to remove and replaced --- pull and plug like a standard elect plug, only its flat.

This definitely works.

My dishwasher won`t start. NO light are open. The electrical power it's ok.

It is possible that themachine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or feedback fromthe inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller mustinitiate the INLET/PUMP MOTOR/DRAIN to workwhen it is commanded .If this does not happen then the voltage at thesepoints must be checked or the faultrelates to no voltage/drive from the controller. This means the controller is asuspect.Check howto remove the control panel: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/dishwashers/a/3/1287/how-to-replace-a-hotpoint-dishwasher-fascia-p.html If thewater flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or thereis dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Whatis most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switchmust be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting themotor. The water pressure must be good and the spraying must be seen to begood. If there is low pumping or pressure then the spray arms will not turnaround to inject with pressure. If sothe pump must be checked for clogging. To replacecheck this link:http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/dishwashers/a/3/1293/how-to-replace-the-spraying-system-on-a-dishw.html Finallyafter the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to comein to rinse and then finally the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain offall the water.Make surethat a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so checkthe command from the program module and then the executing device be it thevalve or motor or pump. Our Blomberg DW-35100 is not draining. We did have a service person in who fixed the problem temporarily. He took the bottom plate off the tub and told us water was present there which raised some float,...

If your Blomberg dishwasher will not drain, it might be the same problem that I had. The filter is a bad design and it lets a lot of debris through. The hose from the dishwasher to the main drain is very small and it gets plugged. Under the sink, loosen the clamps around the hose going into the main drain and take off the dishwasher hose. I use a screwdriver to push the debris through the small hose (that is attached to the big main drain hose) into the big one where it will be carried away. Then I turn on the dishwasher, hold the start button of the dishwasher for three seconds and shut the door. It drains like magic. The first time I did this, it took two hours to figure it out and now I can do it in three minutes. I am going to write to Blomberg now and see about this terrible filter system!

I need to remove the furniture from an old tecnik DW 2677 dishwasher as I have a new one and want to replace the front. I cant see any screws or how to remove it

1 Open door and you will see 5 crosshead screw on each side, undo the top screws and lift up the plastic control panel to release it from the metal clips fixed to the back of the furniture door
2 Lift up the door to release the plastic clips (fixed to the back of the furniture door) from the keyway slot in the metal dw door
3 If its a 2677 that is the replacement the reverse the proceedure on the new one, there is no point cahnging the clips, if its not then
4 Swap over to new makes fixings and rehang the door

Dishwasher will not drain

If you can close the door, turn the control to drain and, can hear the motor running; you have a clog under the pump screen in the back of the Dish Washer preventing the pump impeller from turning
if you hear nothing: reset the house circuit breaker.
to fix: while the DW is on turn off the DW house circuit breaker then remove the pump screen and, remove the broken glass etc. from the pump then: repower and, test.
