Question about Ice Cream Makers
The bowl was well-frozen. I chilled the custard in an ice-bath. It's as though, the mixture freezes too quickly, resulting in the paddle not moving in the bowl. The handle DID turn, prior to pouring in the liquid. In the end, I churned the mixture, by hand. Do you think I should chill the custard, only to room -temperature?

K-tel International is in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I also just got the same machine with no manual. I phoned them and they are sending me one in the mail. Just go to their website; go to "contact us" and phone or email them. They were very helpful.
