Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: I have a really good

Hi Dave,

Yes, there are no parts for this model. I went to Hilti's home page and read that they provide lifetime service, so they can't deny you. Here is their website: http://www.us.hilti.com/holus/page/module/home/browse_main.jsf?lang=en&nodeId=-114808

If you click on the Service/downloads tab and scroll down to the "Lifetime Service" square and click on it, the page it takes you to will explain their repair policies. Go down to the bottom of the page and click on "repair and calibration details". The page they send you to will give you an online repair form section to click on and fill out the form for them. Or you can skip all that and go directly to: http://www.us.hilti.com/holus/page/module/home/browse_main.jsf?lang=en&nodeId=-114853
and fill out the form. They will send you a UPS label for shipping.

As long as they have a lifetime backing on their products, they'd better do something for you....

I hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate a 4 thumbs up. Thanks,

Handie Andie

SOURCE: hilti te22 trigger problem

the switch for the TE22 has been discontinued for years. Your best bet is to find a used one on ebay. Since it is a double throw switch somtimes you can get away with jumping one side "the bad side" and getting it to work for a while. The cord goes on the top connectors and the motor on the bottom. If you determine that one of them is bad then take the cord wire and move it directly to the motor connection below and secure it with the motor screw. A quick drawing below to show what I mean.

Hope this helps

Claudette,
From my experience with Hilti tools, you have to send the tool back to them for repair. I have not had much luck in getting any parts from them. Sorry!

For some reason my hilti te 22 is now stuck on reverse any ideas?

Hi David,
This is puzzling, since the TE22 was never designed to run in reverse. Neither can the electronics or the switch be the cause, since they too are not laid out to change polarity. The only cause i can think

How to Replace Hilti TE22 chuck

You put the two flat sides on the end of the cap nut and lock them in a vice. You then put a wrench on the back side of the chuck which also has two flat sides. with the cap nut locked in a vise take the wrench and turn the retaining sleeve which has the two flat sides counterclockwise to break the cap nut loose. When it turns freely take the chuck out of the vise and turn the cap nut off. You then push the ribbed locking sleeve down to access an o-ring. You pull that off and it releases the locking sleeve and two roller bearings. You then pull off the retaining slv with the two flat sides and release the other two roller bearings. the chuck will then just pull off the shaft

Hilti te 22 no power

Most common for the TE22 was the switch and or cord. To get to handle off take a 5mm allen wrench and take the two screws off the bottem of the handle and then stick the wrench in through the hole in the top of the handle and remove the screw on the inside. Then take the two phillip screws off the side of the handle to seperate the two halves. You will need to take a continuity tester and read each cord from the plug to the switch. If that reads out continue to read the contacts on the switch. The cord you can replace but if the switch is bad there is not a replacment for it.

Hope this helps.

Trigger switch on te22 dead.can I get a replacement or will something else fit

you can go to Hilti direct or find a local dealer by going to "hilti.com" or calling them at 1-800-879-8000 and you can get the replacement. I would not try another switch.

My model is TE76ATC;the drilling bit is stucked and wouldn't power on

Unfortunatly sometimes the entire chuck has to be replaced when a bit gets jammed in it.

Put the bit in a vice and unlock the collar on the drill then wrestle the bit out.

Next time regularly spray lube into the chuck to prevent the bit from locking in the chuck.

I need wiring schematics for hilti te 905 avr

Wiring schematics can be found by Hilti 1-800 number but they probally will not help you. The 905 is programed to shut down for service every 40 hours plus 10 warning. Then in my case I am stuck with a 200 dollar bill to send the tool from Winnipeg to Montreal for reprograming. Its a joke in my situation and its on me from Hilti, what a good name but what a scam.
