A remote is not designed to control and Moitor. They only run by the video/sound output from the pc. So I am taking it for granted that you meant TV instead of Monitor.
A. Before buying a new remote try replacing the batteries first.
B. I found the Innovage Jumbo Remote Control manual and it has no code for the Vizio TV, you will need to utilize the remote's "Code Search" option.
C. Instructions
1. Turn on the Vizio TV.
2. Aim the Jumbo Universal Remote at the Vizio TV and hold down the "Code Search" button on the remove for roughly 3 to 5 seconds. The LED lights on the Jumbo Universal Remote will come on.
3. Press the "TV" button at the top of the Jumbo Universal Remote.
4. Start pressing the "ON/OFF" button repeatedly until the Vizio TV turns off. This will likely take several minutes due to the amount of available codes.
5. Press "Enter" on the remote immediately after the Vizio TV turns off to save the code.
6. Test the Jumbo Universal Remote by trying to control the Vizio TV with the remote. If the control doesn't work with the remote, repeat the entire process.
Usually a battery that hasn't been used or charged for a long time ... may not be able to hold a charge anymore. So, if you have "plugged" it in (to the USB link/power source) to charge it (for about 24 hours or more), and it still isn't charged, then the battery needs to be replaced.
Unfortunately, the battery isn't easily (consumer) replaceable ... i.e. only the company does it.
It can only be replaced by the company. As handy as the camera is, you might start thinking about a replacement. There are many small cameras with better quality pics and easily replaceble batteries.
If it is using AA batteries, make sure they are Alkaline or something like Energiser E2 or Panasonic Evolta, some cheap batteries wont work at all in digital camera's (not powerfull enough). If that doesn't work and you have double checked the polarity, take it back o the store and ask a sales person to see if he can sort it out. Cheers.
there must be a short somewhere in the system draining the battery,my suggestion to you is to disconnect the battery after each use.that way the battery will not discharge itself.the big problem is to find a small draw like that take lots of time.if you take it in to be repaired it could cost more then the machine is worth.to test it you need to disconnect each system and see what is causing the draw..hope this helps, let me know.........................
